1 is an RPG though the original has more JP ADV elements. 2/02, III/03, IV, 4.x (though simple) and Quest are RPGs, VI is a DRPG, IX is a VN with TRPG battles and X is a singleplayer gacha RPG.
SR is not an RPG though, which is what you mean I assume. more a VN/strategy hybrid.
