Dork souls sold better.
I feel the pain, I wanna be a raven again.
I want a new Otogi.
What don't you understand about The Last Raven, I mean it's not like people go out looking for more Mohicans
Which armored core games are best? I played for answer and liked it but was too retarded at the time to stick with it
Silent Line
Based. One of my favourite ps1 games to play in my childhood with my bro and friends.
For me, after playing every PS1 and PS2 game for the first time last year:
Armored Core 2
Silent Line
Last Raven
Last Raven
Because big robot doesn't sell anymore.
Zoomies complained about Titans in Titanfall.
Japan is now obsessed with waifus and idolshit, and the west just associates giant robots with kids shows like Transformers or Power Rangers.
My sister and I watched Gundam Unicorn together and it took her until the third episode to realise that the mobile suits are just combat vehicles and don't have sentience, even after having watched the first fucking scene.
wrong
>Armored Core Nexus
>Armored Core 4
>Armored Core 3
Because Dark Souls inserted itself as the premiere breadwinner for the company. Presumably the devs at From Software still love Armored Core, but can't find any financial reason why they would return to the series if every game they produce sells barely over 300k copies at most sadly.
I would love to see an Armored Core 6, but the truth is the company that used to make those niche mecha titles we used to love has moved on.
>4
Oh, shut the fuck up.
Nexus is garbage.
Master of Arena
AC2
Nexus
Last Raven
AC For Answer
But just start with the first one and play them all.
If that were the case they would've made DS4 instead of Sekiro, or DS4 now instead of Elden Ring.
I think they just don't give a shit about AC anymore, and a bunch of the original AC devs broke off to make Daemon X Machina which is basically just AC Lite.
>a bunch of the original AC devs broke off to make Daemon X Machina
Good job falling for the marketing lies retard.
>Oh, shut the fuck up.
I get that AC3 isn't considered to be as good as the rest of the series, but do you really have to discount my whole list?
>Nexus is garbage.
It literally revolutioned the AC series control scheme and has the most mission and build variety of the series. Everyone sucks TLR off, but does anyone playing it run anything that isn't a mid or lightweight biped with a rifle/smg?
It's the exact opposite. Builds in Nexus boil down to either abusing heat or attempting to mitigate it.

>I have to use a radiator? wooooooow way to pidgeonhole my specc
lmao
>original AC devs broke off to make Daemon X Machina which is basically just AC Lite.
To be fair, DxM felt more like a monster hunting game with mecha and comprehensive customization
Heat in Nexus is fucked. There's a reason why they immediately changed it closer to the old formula in TLR.
>Because big robot doesn't sell anymore.
GETTER IS BACK, BABY~
Shit, meant for
>but do you really have to discount my whole list?
Doesn't feel so good being on the receiving end, huh faggot? Fuck outta here.
>Doesn't feel so good being on the receiving end, huh faggot? Fuck outta here.
I mean Silent Line and Armored Core 2 are known as low points in the series...
Classic or FAST?
OH IM SCARY
fast, bhopping was stupid, boost is cool
Elden Ring will be the From "it all comes together game" connecting all of the From cinematic universe from King's Field to AC
They should try to implement dark souls mechnics
>next AC game is just /m/ souls
how mad would ACfags be
FROM lost key employees that did Armored Core stuff. The shift from the PS2 ACs to AC4 and then to ACV shed a lot of players as well, as all of them play much different from each-other.
Nothing out of the ordinary considering the shifts that were done over the past few numbered titles.
Wouldn't you draw a line between generational gameplay changes and innovations and trying to bring back an old IP but model it after the company's prime moneymaker?
They already did that, on Dreamcast, and it sucks ass
Not really. Movement mechanics in AC have been sped up and slowed down from each generation enough that them making it even smaller/slower would just have people make comparisons to it being like Front Mission Online.
If they decide to go Dark Cores then it's not like AC would be any less dead than it is right now. The same way fans of Front Mission don't care about Left Alive.
Mecha itself is a dying genre. In both vidya and anime. What was once a cultural colossus of Japan is now a pathetic niche shadow of itself.
They're trying to give AC the Souls mass appeal treatment.
