Is anyone else playing Old School Runescape (OSRS) in 2020?

I just got membership for the first time and I plan on doing a lot of quests.

This is the second one, the first was about a year ago

Its pretty fun, but you can make yourself not care because it's only for the next 2 months and it'll be tough as fuck to go into the base game after.

That's true. I deironed and nuked my last account so it'd be kinda hard to come back to that, and I'm not going to put another 1000 hours into a new iron

I downloaded it after watching a bunch of league videos but spending all day trying to minmax progression only to lose the character in two months doesn't sit well with me.

slayer was probably the most fun for me. Since most of it was done melee semi afk. And getting to level up combat and needing certain quests to fight certain slayer monsters was a great motovation to quest. But after hitting 96 slayer i lost motovatoon

I loved being able to go to Catherby and buy cheap fish or Edgeville for rune essence. Sure the deals were worse than what you could get in the GE but it created a sense of community and encouraged localised economies.
Sitting around world 2 Fally was cancer but I rarely went there to buy and sell shit.

Leagues seems interesting but I feel like I should just rather play my main.
I don't like the temporary "private server" feel it has.

Both are fake, you retard. The only reason you should be playing either is because you enjoy the game alone or with friends.
