Do you do the Spirit Temple or Shadow Temple first?

shadow temple i like to savor the best for last

shadow, it feels more natural since its in a place link actually visits before he pulls the master sword the first time, while the Spirit temple is in a place link can only truly visit after he pulls it for the first time since you never go to the Gerudo desert before he pulls the master sword

shadow, the boots make good qol

Spirit. Shadow gives off a more "final temple" atmosphere than Spirit to me.

I do the spirit temple, then shadow, then water, then fire, then forest
aint got no time for kiddie shit

I used to do the Spirit Temple first, but I forgot how to do it without the Hover Boots eventually and got lazy.

I think you have to bounce off one of the rolling boulders in the silver rupee room

It's the main room that confuses me since the platforms on either side of the Goddess statue are too far to jump to.

It's been years since I've played OoT, I can't even remember most of the layout now.

with sequence breaks/glitches, can you beat all 9 dungeons in any order?

I did Fire first. I couldn't get the compass, because I didn't have the bow, but the rest was fine.

Spirit because the medallion comes first and I have autism

The middle room with the statue.

Do you have more of these? This is really cool

I do shadow first, spirit feels like the culmination of all the other temples.

Honestly never thought about it but yeah, I naturally have always done Shadow first, Spirit last

Are you counting Ganon's Castle? But anyway, probably, Ocarina of Time is so broken at this point that speedruns barely have any regular or dev intended segment anymore

Fire->Water
Shadow->Spirit

That's what I did when I first played it and I'll keep it that way.

It's 11 if you count Ice Cavern, Bottom of the Well, and Ganon's Castle.

You can just google search these 3D maps.

I'm a tard who forgot that there are only 5 adult dungeons, not 6

I never even realized you could do the spirit temple before the shadow temple.
I always did
Forest>fire>water>shadow>spirit.
Didn't know you could do them out of that order.

Shadow Temple scared me when I was a kid. I think I put the game down for a cpuple of weeks before I got the courage to play through it.

Gerudo Desert is the only area you don't visit as a kid. This unknown area, along with it being Ganondorf's home, makes it "final area" material in my book.

Agreed, plus the thematic importance of exploring the temple as young and adult Link.

I once did Fire before Forest

Shadow temple is the last one retard

Wack.
Didn't know you could sequence break like that.

>he doesn't do Fire Temple last

it only makes sense to do the shadow temple first, the game sort of directs you in that way after you complete bottom of the well as a child, I've always thought of it as the first half of the shadow temple. It's implied that you do it first, as you need the lens of truth to pass the haunted wasteland.

Besides its worth noting shadow is directly accesible after completing water. Navi points you to kakariko too

>Gerudo town, home of Ganondorf
>Only place you can't visit as a child
>Temple is about playing as both child and adult
Spirit CLEARLY is the last temple that must be done
