Shitposting aside, is this actually good? I'm looking for a large rpg to waste time in and I already own it

If its your first time? Probably yes.
Its greater with mods but lacking

Is it easy to waste time in it? Yes.
Is it a good game? No.

If you've played an open world western RPG you know EXACTLY what you're getting into
Skyrim in particular oversimplified things a bit too much compared to Oblivion but it's still serviceable
Main story is shit and the civil war plot is also shit which means the only good story comes from some pretty basic side quests

Calling it a roleplaying game feels dishonest. It has more in common with Ubisoft Open World titles than actual RPG's.

You barely even make any choices, you create a character and then go on a fantasy power trip where you become the chosen one. Choices and consequences are damn near non-existent.

It's okay, but it has the depth of a puddle.

its a good game with bunch of mods but nothing you can do will make it into a good rpg.

Unmodded is overrated as fuck. But it's a decent enough game.

It's a fun game but it lacks replayability in my opinion. Not bad for one playthrough though.

youve never played fucking skyrim? of course its good lol

If you don't want a really RPGish RPG, this is a fun Action Adventure!!

if you haven't played it at all before, yes absolutely you should try it. my first time playing it was recently and I fucking loved it. played like 8 hours a day for about a month straight then one day just burnt out on it and haven't touched it since.

try not to think too much about it and have fun, but yeah play it, it's fun

If you can stand making it through the tutorial dungeon, you'll probably get your money's worth out of it.

If not, it's up to you whether you want to try spending a hundred hours modding it to make it serviceable or not.

assuming modded
if you're into roleplaying you'll have to do it mostly in your head. if you're into combat just stop yourself before you turn it into a shittier chinese dark souls combat sim. if you're in it for the masturbation material, then yeah, you'll probably have a lot of fun.

if you're not modding, then maybe? if you're new to RPGs and games in general, otherwise id say no.

Legit good game because of mods. Even if you don't install gameplay overhauls, graphic mods make the game look nice.

It's a game for Chads where you bash shit and yell at dragons. If you're a sniveling pencil-necked virgin pining for a hardcore D&D RPG then it might not appeal to you.

Except exploring in skyrim feels organic and rewarding.

The combat is awful, but the game is really fun, especially with mods.

>is this actually good?
Fuck no. Morrowind wasn't even good, let alone this glitchy piece of shit. Never believe Todd Howard's lies.

Play Kingdom Come deliverance instead

It needs a significant amount of modding to the point where it doesn't even feel like the same game anymore to make it enjoyable. I have to install more than 150+ mods to make sure I can actually finish a playthrough.

Argonian Cloaca. You need to play it.

have you been in a coma, user?

Reminder that Argonian tits are full of hist sap.

I have a mod that makes the end dungeon chests have more stuff in them that ranges in value, from enchanted to weapons to random misc stuff that is based off of the dungeon you found it in, like vampire lairs will have different kinds of loot, and troll caves etc.

are you suggesting that their tits excrete maple syrup? imagine those morning pancake the night after fucking.

Massively hallucinogenic maple syrup at that. Enjoy

make sure to play anything but a stealth archer if you have a brain

give it a chance to morrowind first, if you cant into it, get the mod that disables the rolls to hit.

Is it good Objectively? Ya sure.

Is it a good RPG, and thus a good elder scrolls game? Absolutely not.
