Realtalk in addition to fatposting, I don't think a game can really "get big" now in the traditional sense for any sustained period of time. Some new streamerbait/direct-to-esport shit will pop up and gain momentum just when most people have finally gotten sick of whatever the last iteration was, and the cycle continues.
