Serious question : what is MS deal trying to save or partner with them? I just dont get it

2011 la. noire midnight release
avoid going in there because of the harassing salespeople

I would guess MS wants to compete with apple by having their products like surface in physical stores like how apple has real locations, but doesn't want to have to own the stores.

I don't want to live in this timeline any more.

microsoft stores exist

For either the burning crusade or wrath, I forget which. They had stopped selling PC games normally but were doing the launch day thing. I can't believe they didn't even try to address the rise of digital, they just gave up and blockbustered themselves.

The number is pretty small relative to apple stores.

damn, those lucky bastards get FREE work days

In theory. I think they have less than 100 in the US.

They permanently closed a ton of them this year including all of them in Canada I believe.

There a rare find

Probably a jewish company with a name like that.

HAHA WHAT

why would you want black friday hours do they make commission or what

>you have to apply and give your resume to have the privilege of paying them to work there.
Holy shit please tell me nobody is enough of a cuck to actually do this.

Y'all don't worry, Biden will fix that shit.

>And at $50 an hour, too. When I first started working here, I had to pay Mr. Krabs $100 an hour.
What a fucking clown world, when Spongebob jokes become real life situations.

It's fake, retards. The company doesn't even exist. The "job listing" was an actual job listing, not a photoshop, but it was probably a prank or some "journalist" desperate to dredge up some clickbait.

please tell me somebody edit this as a joke, what in the fuck...

The employees who are in need of extra cash. Due to bills, debt, and etc. Gamestop figured might as well cash in on their desperation.

so they rly just main you compete for the most shittiest hours... thats wack

Hahahahaha

Imagine being paid by the hour instead of constant value paycheck...

Back in 2017 to reserve a Switch. I was at work, and left my coworker to hold it down until I came back since it wasn't a busy day and we had just opened. I was the manager and boss was pretty lax so who gives a fuck.

I was right behind the guy who got the last preorder at that store. Some big as fuck dude who was there with his dad preordering it. If I had just left a bit earlier I could have beat him.

My mom knew I wanted the damn thing so she looked out for me. She and my dad came to my apartment to visit and she had credit with this place that only let you buy if you had credit with them or some shit and she agreed to order it if I paid her back. It was the only place that had the Switch sitting. So shit all worked out.

Also, fuck Gamestop

They're rare, and they closed a ton of them down recently. Apple stores are meme centers, MS stores never reached that status.

>he isn't an independent consultant who only has to work a few months a year.
Never gonna make it.

It's almost impressive how fucking insane this is.

>Someone with an American public education made up this bulletin.
lol

I had preordered Animal Crossing just prior to the lockdowns and picked up my copy then.

>being too dumb even for boomer humor

So are they saying they get to work longer, or that they get 10 hours' pay?

November last year, got death stranding the CE.
Before that, MG survive, and before that MGS5. All at the same store. It feels like tradition so that's the only reason why, honestly. I haven't bought another physical game besides those since the ps4 released.

I can only imagine the type of employer who thinks this would be "funny" to hang in the work place

>boomer humor.
If this is what they consider funny, no wonder nobody likes them.

>dude

Wait, what?

it's punching down regardless

They're offering 10 hours extra for you to work. Gamestop is pretty notorious for having everyone, sometimes managers included, on part time hours

It's been awhile. Been wanting to trade in a ton of stuff like my Wii U games that have Switch ports and a handful of games I got for free but covid closed them down for some time.
