How mad will zoomers be with Doran on the DeS Remake?

If they changed the Vanguard so much, I'm sure they'll try to "modernize" his look too. That's why I'm curious.

He has a shitton of hp, a shitton of dmg and his AI is ridiculously reactive. Imagine fighting a regular humanoid dark souls npc but 100 times harder

He's aggressive, hits hard, is fast, and is fought in a somewhat small arena.

Say what you want but Demon's Souls felt extremely rough in quite a few aspects

i dont remember if he was hard or not, but there will be a tutorial/nerf if it's really hard

In my 600+ hours of this game, I have never once fought him legitimately. I always use Plague Cloud and wait for him to die.

As mad as I was at this lazily made fucker with his near infinite HP the first time around. If they didn't redesign him at all for the sake of "authenticity", then it'll still be possible to punt him off a ledge to his death, or trap him between pillars and cheese him to death that way. Pretty much every boss in Demon's is easy, but Doran was just a boring NPC battle that wasn't fun at all

I beat Doran with the dragon bone smasher and thought it was pretty easy, he's only hard if you can't out range him.

i hope they made the enemies scale up based on my best weapon upgrade and level in the remake or it's going to be an absolute snoozefest even for new players once they figure out how to upgrade their weapon
