They're going to retcon it. No way they'll let the good guys lose, let alone make YOU kill them.
Who knows. Maybe they're gonna tease us with the potential idea of a retcon only to let fate follow its course anyways.
>Shit goes down in flames
>Zelda sends link for 100-year repairs
>Leaves Master Sword with Deku Tree
>Shit's on and you get to use an overpowered Zelda to decimate every enemy all the way to Hyrule Castle
If they gave me Zelda's light nukes to destroy everything in my path I'd be super happy.
They should do a Halo Reach style "survive" mission against a bazillion guardians but I think we're getting a retconned past because by that stage in the game, the heroes are dead and it's just link and Zelda. Still it would be good if they did that
>All hope is lost
>Nu-Champions arrive and try to save old champions as they fight blights
>blights still win
>nu-champions defend their hometowns and go toe to toe with Divine Beasts
>Zelda sends them back to their own time before facing Ganon
>last line of the main story is "open your eyes...."
Source: My uncle works at Nintendo Treehouse, no really. See you guys November 20th. Screencap this post.
The champions live and they defeat calamity ganon. Also dating sim mini game that effects the ending
What's this dating sim everyone is mentioning?
Sure thing, my dad is Nintendo and he says that after the demo it turns into NEW super Mario bros 3
the time travel successfully prevents the calamity from happening and the franchise moves on with two distinct timelines, the failure timeline and the success timeline
Wishful thinking

Zelda gets alts based on other Zelda designs
>abloo bloo bloo muh dark ending
This is what I'm most confused. I though egguardian was just a plot device to make the necessary changes to the past, but no. Turns out he outright tells Zelda and the others he comes from a future where everything gets fucked up.
Shouldn't the king and others be more wary that shit will go down? Wouldn't this allow them to prevent the cataclysm or at least make all pf them survive?
I don't get what Nintendo plans for the game are.
Finally somebody who has their priorities straight. Dressing Zelda up in cute outfits is half the reason to even make the game.
Now that time travel is a thing I want this to happen. I know there's a literal 0% of this happening but I want the future champions to be the ones that calamity ganon's blight takes over and to play as a semi blight Sidon with the objective "Kill Mipha"
There will be probably be alternative skins but not the same system link has
Ganon trolls everyone and takes off in Hyrule Castle while shouting this,
youtu.be
>implying
>16 FPS average
miss me with that shit
Tell me this user's, are you studs of studwork?
bump
I want to fuck Sidon
You don’t fuck Sidon, Sidon fucks you
>Final map is Link tasked with protecting Zelda against swarms of corrupted Guardians until they get out of Castle Town
>CANONICALLY getting a game over screen
I mean, the first HW did it, even making you belive it was the final mission.
No, it's impa escorting link's body to the resurrection shrine, while simultaneously using Zelda to reach the castle.
Ludo.
Impa stays to protect Kakariko village, Robbie and Purah are the ones to take his body to the shrine.
>But the future refused to change
Kinda deal? I could get behind it honestly. Lure us in with the potential good end then have shit go south anyway. Would still prefer a proper fucking prequel though honestly.
If they’re going that route they shouldn’t have included time travel. That just pisses off both the people who wanted a proper prequel and those who wanted a better ending
Why would people who want a better ending be pissed off by time travel
