Unless you are a scalper (or a kike) you will agree that the world would be better off without them. They do not provide any service but make it a little more difficult and expensive to buy something than it could be.

It erodes consumer esteem, good will and confidence towards the companies who create the market conditions for scalping to flourish. All this while allowing some enterprising entrepreneur to make a quick buck exploiting man babbies with no patience.

The presence of return policies at stores. Scalping is a valid way to make money but there should be some risk involved.
As it is, with a good bot and some starting capital you can buy 20 PS5s, sell what you can at double price and return what's left. It's an economic exploit and should be nerfed.

Scalpers are not the problem, they are the symptom. Impatient retards, artificial scarcity and an increased reliance on the hype cycle to sell games/consoles/pc hardware are the real issues. Scalpers just take advantage of the current state of the market. They have no real power over the market, as they would loose their investment if people stopped buying from them at increased prices.

Using automated tools to look for/scan for and purchase product while you sleep/jerk off, denying a normal consumer (someone who has to actively try getting something legitimately) access because of the time-sensitive and limited nature of said product; that's where the line is drawn. There would be no problem If you had to wait in line at a store over several days, got the limited stock, and then resold. But having a computer automatically purchase 20 of them for you with intent to resell, that's when you get thrown under the bus.
