Rain World

Devil May Cry 4. The game has some annoying parts to it (repeating bosses) but the atmosphere is nice and the soundtrack is great. Here's my favorite track:

I really liked Cloudpunk for atmosphere. It's what I was hoping for from CP2077.

this song is beautiful, user. thanks for sharing.

Pathologic

no problem. They are some of the most atmospheric and immersive games ever made. The first 2 still hold up wonderfully and the third is visually stunning with a gripping narrative to boot.

Rain World and Arx Fatalis

Thief 1-3

Play will to live online

Don't get the Redux versions they are a downgrade in lightning, atmosphere and monster models.

I find Psychonauts a fun little bubble to escape into.
might be nostalgia though I'm not certain.

Such a shame this great looking game has TAA which you can't turn off. A real bummer.

yeah but it doesnt go full /smudgemode/ so its not as bad as it could be

True but the ghosting and motion blur that it causes are absolutely terrible and they get worse the lower the frame rate dips. I tried disabling TAA in user.cfg but it break a lot of stuff in the game like most of the lightning. What a shame.

Unironically games where you have to simulate doing some actual work. MudRacer for instance.

Kingdom Come Deliverance
Gothic 1 and 2
Max Payne 1 and 3
Mass Effect 1
Red Dead Redemption 2 if you only ride from town to town and avoid the imemrsion breaking story missions

kingdom come deliverance
