if backwards compat is your thing it can play gamecube, ps1, and a few ps2 games through retroarch

Game Pass is hands down the best value around right now. The PS5 slim will be worth getting in a few years when there’s more than a handful of exclusives available.

Why buy a launch unit when its prone to break and there is no games yet?
Even Cyberpunk wont have a next gen version on consoles on (haha) launch day

The Xbone X is definitely a fantastic console and I’d certainly recommend it. There’s no going back once you experience SSD load times on the SeX though.

Pay an extra $20 for dev mode and now you have access to retroarch. This lets you play up to PS2, making it arguably the best emulation console you can buy. Xbox gamepass ultimate is a much better deal than ps plus. You'll pretty much always have something to play. Backwards compatibility with xbox, 360, and xbone games is also a plus. If you had to buy a console, the series X aint bad.

Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention the series X controller is in the running for the greatest controller of all time btw. Its dpad is like a mix between the PS Vita dpad and a sega saturn dpad.

Wait for a ps5 slim and/or upgraded Bloodborne and MGS remake. If you have to consoom the xsx isn't bad as an all around device now but we won't see good games till 2022. Infinite looks like a shitshow.

Don’t get it. It’s the same as the One X but with better specs. I just kept my One X and got a PS5 and maybe I’ll trade it in at GameStop or something eventually it is definitely not easier to get. I don’t know why you guys keep pushing this meme, every console sells out in 20 seconds unless the websites are doing burst drops like Best Buy does.

Look I am not a fan of the PS5 but this is incredibly gay. This is by no means a selling point.

Currently the main advantage that both the PS5 and SeX have over the PS4 Pro and Xbone X is SSD load times. I took the opposite approach as you. I got a SeX and kept my PS4 Pro for now until more exclusives make the PS5 worth getting.
