I feel like we peaked with the McDonalds DS game last week, is there anything as worthwhile and special as that?
What is the holy grail of Zig Forums lost media?
Graal online classic early editions
The spore demo that had tons of features
The lost live action mario movie sequel that only 5 people are known to have had
Twelve Tales: Conker 64
We have footage of that at least
for me, it's Sam and Max Plunge Through Space
supposedly it was basically completed and if it's as good as it sounded I would have loved the shit out of it as a kid
Mean Girls DS
Earthbound 64
I've never heard of this. Tell me more.
the holy grail would be the cancelled star wars battlefront 3 or 2001 duke nukem forever
This. EarthBound 64, definitely

It was the first sequel to Hit the Road, the very successful Lucasarts game from the 90s. The most that's ever been released is concept art, no screenshots or anything. Lost Media Wiki has a good rundown on it. I'm actually not sure now where I heard it was almost completed, because supposedly it's not known how far past the concept stage it got, but Steve Purcell has described what it would have been like:
>It was a lot heavier on "adventure" than "action". It was intended to be more of a hybrid, giving you the story and characters of a point-and-click adventure, but with the pacing of a 3D platformer. You'd have controlled Sam directly, moving around environments about the size of an FPS level, solving item-based puzzles and getting into dialogue exchanges. Enemies would wander the level, so you could always go back and shoot and/or beat them up. (I remember that we spent a good bit of time trying to figure out how to do shooting without over-complicating the targeting interface, before we remembered that it's Sam & Max, and accuracy is kind of irrelevant.) We were hoping to have a platformer without shallow characters or annoying jumping puzzles, and an adventure game without the feeling that nothing happens when you get stuck. The best part of having a pitch go unpublished is that I can say that we solved every problem, and it would've worked perfectly, if only it had gotten made.
I think you are thinking of the Game Boy colour version. It was so far in development that when they changed Conker 64 to an M rating they still released the E rated Game Boy Game
Damn, I didn't know about this. Its pretty interesting. For sharing.
Gotta love Steve man, what a great bit at the end.
Lost media wiki suggests the rorochan1999 video is found though.
Darkstalkers 4. Both of them.

His art for the game was fantastic, if anything's for sure. Who knows, maybe it would have sucked. I'm such a huge fan of the original game I just want to imagine this one would have done it justice. It sounds like they had the right direction for it, at least. Ah well, sometimes imagining what could have been is more fun than having that curiosity satisfied.
It's an ARG using the same shtick as the "personalized Mario 64" videos we've had over the past six months. Several of the assets were literally ripped from Mario 64, and the triple jump acts the same.
no its real trust me i have it
