GOG is doing... Good?

GOG has been getting a bunch of AAA titles recently, which is a big win for DRM-free gaming.
Has GOG seen a boost in customers, or is this a last ditch effort to keep this store alive?

Pic related but Horizon sucks

I saw this, too. I just hope devs like SEGA or Bamco would drop their stuff on GOG.

I unironically think it's basically because TIMMY and his EGS are doing ok. Publishers are now more used to dealing with multiple platforms on the PC side as a result and as such are more likely to care about putting their games on GoG.

That's my speculation anyway...

>has GOG seen a boost in customers
You tell me.

Not of Zig Forums where all of the faggots hate GOG and make Steam threads every day.

As a torrenter I love this

I’m probably not going to rebuy anything, but I’ll definitely try to get games on GOG instead of Steam, from now on.

Gog is great because when you pirate their games if your antivirus alarms you know it's a legit virus

more like boost in pirates lmao, imagine being publishers releasing no-drm games, your game must be doing this bad to give it away for free to pirates

they're slowly trending upwards

>Pic related but Horizon sucks.
I agree. While i am happy that GOG is getting more games Horizon is still a meh game.
C.O.N.T.R.O.L, M.E.T.R.O. series, the Styx series, the Dishonored series, the Deus Ex and the recent Batman games are some good new additions to the GOG marketplace that were formerly ''exclusive'' to other platforms. If EA had half a brain they'd bring more of their games to GOG as well. Same goes for Blizzard.

Good.
I hate Cyberpunk and what CD Projekt red turned into
I don't hate GoG, it's the best thing to come out of gaming in the past twenty years.

That's cool if you don't play multiplayer.

Same man, but if Cyberpunk creates interest in the GOG store, I'll actually say I am glad it was made.

Yeah, i was lucky and got a few games from my Steam account transferred to my GOG account with GOG connect. Now that i have more games on GOG than i do on Steam i feel free.

I unfortunately got some Steam gift cards this year and had to abandon the GOG store for a while, but now that my Steam wallet it's empty...
I only spend actual money on GOG.

It may also reduce it, since a good chunk of pirates just do it to spite DRM.

>That's cool if you don't play multiplayer.
I played Divinity:Original Sin 2, Absolver, Dragon's Dogma and Torchlight II multiplayer trough GOG. It is up to the developers/publishers.

The madlads actually got Konami to put their pc ports of MGS1, MGS2 and Silent Hill 4 on GOG. They're the best platform objectively.

WTF this is a steal

Silent Hill 4 also runs well, at that.

whenever i have a choice, i buy on gog.
no drm is justice.

Yeah, recently GOG has been getting a ton of good games to the point of where i can't buy them all and actually started using my wishlist.

How are you getting that price? It shows up as 60 when I look at it.

For your country it is.

If and when they put out a matching Canadian regional pricing to steam I'll use it, until then torrent all the way

There was no other way to put those for sale again. I hope they find a way to port 3.

Careful with that, GOG games tend to get updates much later and sometimes never at all. For example Dragons Dogma on GOG is still out of date with Steam

protip: just use a vpn and get the games for extremely cheap even if you're a canadian lol
i mean if you really cared, nothing wrong with torrenting either

>Dragons Dogma on GOG is still out of date with Steam
What's the difference between the GOG and the Steam versions?

go to sleep Tim

lol Control is only $10 for me

Patch related? Bugs mostly and stability from what i read. Aside from that Pawns are not shared between GOG and Steam userbase but that was to be expected.

BASED TIM SAVING GAMING ONE STEP AT A TIME!!!

The game is literally going to be free on launch day
