NOOOOOOO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LIKE KOJIMA GAMES NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Keep on keeping on, brother!
I kept doing that for ~70 hours in chapter 3

Only other Kojima game I've played is MGS on PS1 so I wouldn't even consider myself a "Kojima fan"
I think I'll have to finish that series now

>I think I'll have to finish that series now
I can wholeheartedly recommend MGS1-4 + Peace Walker. The rest are very hit & miss.

Is this another MGSv where they front load the story and then drop you off in a boring empty world?

Yes, it's fantastic

No. It's nothing like V, and that's why it's infinitely superior.

Attached: 1603123192702.png (1919x1079, 1.45M)

It's pretty much empty, you're the only one out there doing shit apart from other 'friendlies' that you rarely see, and enemies that don't roam outside of their little safe zones that don't create any sort of emergency.

It's not a terrible game, but it's not worth being praised so much.

BT's are annoying as shit most of the time.

>but it's not worth being praised so much.
Fortunately, you're not the one responsible of making that judgement.
DS and BotW are exactly what the open-world ""genre"" needs more of.

>golden joystick awards

literal WHO

BOTW was a cliche cookie cutter open world game though, DS at least tried to tie a decent story with an interesting cargo delivery system

but the gameplay was just boring as fuck unless you snorted Adderall

at least finish your schools before shitposting.

>BOTW was a cliche cookie cutter open world game though,
Thank you for admitting to the class that you've not even played the game.

>but the gameplay was just boring as fuck
DS' gameplay is one of the most addicting and satisfying experiences I've had a joy of going through in the past 10+ years. I literally found myself playing the game like 10+ hours, nonstop, every day. Most of it nothing to do with the story stuff.

Keep on keeping on

>Recommending MGS4 and peace walker
confirmed for retard

I spent 11 hours straight building the entire road network a few months back. It's addictive. Honestly my favourite game of the last 2 years or so.

Absolutely beautiful world and story too. Also there is one scene near the end that honestly has the best acting I've ever seen in a game.

Keep on keeping on!

MGS4 is a great finale to the long-running series, and absolutely magnificent, emotionally-loaded fanservice ride.

Peace Walker is one of the greatest, most fun games in the entire series, and feels the most like good ol' MGS. It's the true MGS5 in my heart, like it was originally meant to be. It BTFO MGSV titles any day and night.

Dangerously based.
I was the very same myself

Is it just me or has the attitude towards this game changed over the year?
I remember when it first came out Zig Forums was shitting on it a lot, with "walking simulator" and "pretentious" being used a lot. But now the attitude towards it seems pretty positive.
Perhaps PS4 players are just plebs and the PC players were able to actually appreciate it? I was a bit surprised to see that it's overwhelmingly positive on steam

Attached: 1601910362461.png (720x702, 501.71K)

More like your brain is coping with it.

>Mules are like fiends who rob people and want to do deliveries for the likes and dopamine kicks from it
>They don't deliver anything and just horde it in a postbox

What did they mean by this?

I want to play it so bad but I know my pc isn't up to it. :(

>unlock the boomer sunglasses after Monster gets replaced with beer
Aw.

It was PS exclusive so it was just microshills shitting on a game they never played

>MGS4 is a great finale to the long-running series, and absolutely magnificent, emotionally-loaded fanservice ride.

I mean this makes sense, since you're obviously the sort of brain dead spaz who didn't get any of the series and sent death threats to Kojima to give you the anime ending the series wasn't meant to have.

Even if the story is a mess, I had a ton of fun actually playing the game. I'm glad you're enjoying it, user.

They are clearly insane

When it was relevant people who had no actual interest in it shitposted because surprise, people shitpost about relevant things.

Now they've moved on and don't care about this anymore and the only people still talking about it are people who care.

Just you and your habit of biting the bait of one or two autistic samefags.
The game enjoyed great reviews across the globe even before PC port, and folks who actually played it generally enjoyed it. It's damn easy to spot the ones who've not put even 5 minutes into the game / only watched some LP, and think their opinion is worth jack shit.

>I was a bit surprised to see that it's overwhelmingly positive on steam
Nothing surprising about it if you'd actually played the game. With all the other options being literal semi-interactive movies, it's no wonder that a proper video game wins the GOTY for a change.

The game can be ran on a quite literal potato.
My craptop with Intel i5-8250U + MX150 2gb can do ~30fps at 720p / Low, where as my old ass desktop with i7-2600K + GTX 1060 6gb can do the 1080p/60fps with mixed settings.

That's how Zig Forums reacts to most console exclusives that become available on PC later on.

>Perhaps PS4 players are just plebs and the PC players were able to actually appreciate it?
No, it was PC players bitching about it.

You've all but admitted that you have ADHD, which is fine. But can you understand how people without your brain condition can enjoy games you're not capable of focusing on?

>Literally the only game award that matters
LMAO. Only game awards that matters is Dorito Pope's one. And that's only literally because we get video games news and trailers during that.

Attached: Golden Sony Awards.png (2048x1076, 2.41M)

Kojima is amazing at world building, but he can't string together a coherent storyline if his life depended on it. He's the type of guy you want to do the worldbuilding for your DnD campaign, but you don't want him to DM for you.

>N-NNOOO!!! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO PARROT THE ANCIENT ZOOMER HAET MEME!! ;(((
Seethe and dilate more, kiddo.
Zig Forums L-O-V-E-D MGS4 when it came out, and wept when the MGO2 shut down. It is one of the series highlights, no matter the Jewnami-tampered ending.

Attached: 1603163264004.png (1280x477, 230.28K)

>Kojima is amazing at world building
You clealy haven't played MGS. Kojima expects people to believe timeskip between MGS1 and 4 is 9 years.

The Golden Joystick Awards are the Grand Daddy of all video game awards bro, they've been doing it since the early 80's

People just finally started playing it. There's a lot more going on than you'd realise just watching footage of it, plus the general tone is completely lost unless you're playing it. It's easily the best open world game I've ever played, it's one of the only ones to justify being in the genre

>be wacky insane postman who wants to to deliver everything they can
>start stealing all the packages you can and scavenging ones in the wilderness
>realise you've got too much to deliver in one go
>too afraid to leave your other gear unattended
>set up a camp to protect it and traps to keep stealing cargo
>continously sit on your horde that becomes more and more valuable to you thus making it harder and harder to leave some to deliver the rest

or alternatively

>we don't see them delivering anything in game but they're doing it off screen

>conflating love for based MGO2 with the singleplayer trash
Dishonest and retarded. Dreadful combination. Go cope somewhere else that you spent years threatening a dev because you didn't get that the series had already ended and needed to know what happened to the funny poo man

According to dialogue, they do make deliveries sometimes. But mostly they're the game's equivalent of Internet trolls: people unsatisfied with their own lives who'd rather drag successful people down than pull themselves up.

>Zig Forums L-O-V-E-D MGS4 when it came out
Idiots liking a game doesn't make it good

4 can be disregarded when discussing MGS. It's a toy made for dumbasses.

My brother started playing this gape when he was on a post surgery codeine high, I wish I couldve experience that, the yet unanswered question of whether or not the likes and building help sources are real or not kinda ruined it for mz tho, and I shouldve read more of the extra texts but it's a waste of time to do that during and not after the game

>MP only jarhead in charge of dictating taste
don't you have another 1000 hours to waste scouting in de_dust2 or something?

The world loved it.
Maybe these games are just not for you? Shocking, I know!

I'd be inclined to believe that they make deliveries as part of their weird brain damage if there weren't deliveries based on getting shit back from them that they stole and didn't deliver.

Mules, in theory, should be like porters that don't need contracts because they do it for the likes. They'd even be incentivized to keep the packages in good order since they're like junkies.

No it cannot. It's a spectacular finale to the series that should've ended 12 years ago, maybe even earlier.

>MP only jarhead in charge of dictating taste
What? Are you genuinely this stupid? Did you reply to the wrong comment? I've no idea what this has to do with my post.

Spent hours setting up a zipline system in the mountains shit was surprisingly fun. I think I'm just autistic though.

>it's a waste of time to do that during and not after the game
That does not make any sense.
Immersing yourself into the game's world and lore is never "waste of time".

Go play with your gundams kid. The chronoligical story ended spectacularly (and with satisfaction) with MGS2.
