no you're right, the english release for it is next year. it's just buggy as shit in the japanese release and knowing atlus the chances of it being properly patched up are slim to nil. japanese sales dropped off like 90% in the second week.

But that's not difficulty, you can still get the skills you want, it just takes a fucking tedious amount of time to keep rerolling them. Modern QoL would simply remove the time wasting aspect of it by making it work like in SMT4, fucking retard.

the actual people developing the video game parts of Atlus’s games are genuinely fucking incompetent. Plot/music/atmosphere carries way too many of their fucking games.

Personally it would be better if they went the fusion route of Devil Survivor and P4G onwards where you have to keep the first few innate skills on the demon then you can pick a few skills of whatever you want as long as it fits with that demon's possible skill set.
Making your own complete custom demons in IV never felt right to me, IVA fixed this a bit with skill type affinity or whatever it was called.

I still don't understand why they didn't just reuse the demon models from persona 5 and make original models for the cast, not to mention they can add new demons since royal has even more demon models

it's a non issue because you dont spend long at all trying to get the skills you want, its trivial. if you dont like grind dont play jrpgs you fucking troglodyte

I recommend people just play original on PCSX2 due to how fucking broken the demaster is.
Raidou version has a fantranslation patch available and if you want to play the Dante version with the QoL of Pierce then you can just use this modified patch:

Either rebuild the ISO and replace the game's ELF with this one or just use PCSX2's feature for starting game from ELF directly (make sure you have the ISO loaded first in PCSX2, obviously).

Because that would take effort.
Atlus is allergic to effort.

The one and ONLY thing I wanted from a Nocturne remaster was to be able to choose which abilities get inherited so I don't have to keep fucking refreshing the fusion page for an hour per fusion but they couldn't even do that.

Why would the version for the market they give 0 fucks about be fixed while the JP one is broken? It's the other way around with ATLUS, if they don't fix the JP one then don't count on EN one ever getting fixed.
We never got a single ATLUS game that was better in the west than it was in Japan.
In fact western version of Soul Hackers has ADDED game breaking bugs (one being terminal) in the English version AND cut content (NPC voice acting got removed, in JP the game is fully voiced, in EN only the main story scenes are voiced).
