My hands are kinda big, so I put a case on stuff like my Vita and 3DS so they are more comfortable to hold. I put a case on my phone because I like to get drunk and people tend to drop stuff when drunk. Plus the case makes it a little bigger and thus more comfortable to hold. I put weights on pens, paint brushes, shit like that to make them more comfortable to use and improve steadiness.

It's weird how inconsistent this stuff is, I've played my switch for hundreds of hours and no drift. I do cycle a few pairs of controllers though so maybe it's coming.
That's actually something I should probably try, typing on switch screen feels like shit. Though it was the same for me with Vita as well, these keyboards just feel wrong

This, fucking this. The sticks are so damn sensitive, though it varies (on Borderlands 2, the deadzone is quite large, but in Animal Crossing it's just too small and drift is really noticeable).
I remember reading about changing the deadzone though by connecting the Joycons on the PC and it saves the deadzone setting even if you connect it to a Switch.

You can just use alternative Joycons like the Hori or use the "Xbox-like" controller for TV screen play. I will say a PC seems like a better alternative to the Xbox Series and the PS5 especially when hooked up to a TV and with a controller of your choosing.

Those are so much better than the default ones.
Its not just the drift, which can happen on some pretty light use. But the buttons for a dpad makes it terrible for ports and retro games which the Switch is full of. And the regular joycon shape isn't that comfy either.
