And btw even if it's not (which probably is the case) I was always very pissy about the idea of kojima directing a silent hill game. For me he's a hack that wouldn't understand what silent hill is about, his fans is what probably annoys me the most, but silent hill got so fucked along the years by western developers that I don't even care at this point, maybe kojima is the right guy for this.

Silent Hill "5". And I think that's the likeliest to happen. The big rumours floating around a couple months ago which were shared through sources like Dusk Golem (who has since proved to be super reliable in terms of leaks for Resident Evil Village especially, as well as other correct shit like leaking the Shenmue anime and MH switch) said that it'll be a new game directed by Toyama (SH1 director) and with some old Team Silent members returning like Masahiro Ito obviously.
I would not be dissatisfied with a Silent Hills revival but I would definitely worry about Kojimafags ruining the franchise. Kojima himself I would have faith in, moreso if he was still paired with Del Toro.
I don't want a Silent Hill 1 remake to happen because that game relies so heavily on the hardware limitations for its mood. It would not translate well with modern graphics. But I'd like to proven wrong. I would definitely play it if it happened but I think in the end I would still prefer the original.
