What would a found footage horror video game be like?

Genuinely shocked this WASN'T in the game. Like just recording your gameplay while you played with the Camera up and playing chunks over the credits or in the extras menu. Missed opportunity.

Games that replay your play through always seemed rather odd to me in an eerie way.

Bit of a hard thing to do, unless it just recorded all the movements you did then rendered it after you were done with the game, maybe during the credits

I still feel sick when I remember the scene where the killer gives the pregnant woman a nonconsensual c-section and replaces her baby with the severed head of her husband.

There was a time where this was unironically cool but then everyone did it and it no longer became special.

have you ever played the "the ring" games? theyre exactly that and not very scary because the whole things a walk simulator with scripted joompspooks also the mechanic of "find batteries before the level is over or you instalose" is lame as fuck and punishes exploration.

one of those games where you play a guy sitting at a computer and it's just him fucking with the computer

he's a computer forensics specialist trying to poke through this hard drive of a computer that was in a house where they found the corpse of a woman brutally raped and murdered.
you can get up and walk around your apartment (where you live alone) and sometimes go down to the police station to talk to people. when you come back to your apartment you see some of the files on the computer have been moved around. you start to discover more and more creepy stuff and then you hear a noise from behind you in your apartment

slasher movies arent scary for me. This one especially was funny because of how tryhard the main killer was. when you take a mental step back and realize how absolutely stupid it all is like dressing up as a plague doctor and smacking her around whilst yelling at her it becomes fucking hilarious. what sort of drugs was that dude on? he had a Dr Doom sized ego and really though himself as some sort of DoctorDeath 666 da killa mad scientist.
