>spend 2,000 hours per year playing video games (~4 hours a day if you play all evening) >in that time you could learn piano, painting, other languages, or any number of things
god I'm so glad i took the /ic/ pill instead of literally wasting another year of my life on worthless consumption like a meth junkie. tick tock, Zig Forums
its all a way of wasting time and i hate the faggot that breaks out a guitar, makes people sit through his metallica rendition then some reclouse arched over a keyboard
Landon Cox
>learn piano, painting, other languages For what purpose? Give me an actual reason to do any of these things instead of playing vidya.
you won't be useless sack of shit gamer with no skills outside your wagie job and might actually get laid or have an interesting conversation about a real subject for once
Colton Peterson
If you're ugly none of that means shit unless by "enrich" you mean I get a lot of money for it.
Gabriel Clark
No reason user, op is just probably having a mental breakdown.
Lucas Barnes
So what said, it's only useful if you're a normalfag who wants to impress his normalfag friends
Thomas Price
>why should i have an interest in the world or natural curiosity when i could just shoot smack in my arm
idk brother maybe you're just an NPC
Andrew Long
>have an interesting conversation most people just spout out the same nonsense on the news or what they read on twitter, even when it comes to their "hobbies"
Jonathan Green
Tick tock, your enjoyment and value is relative and only your last thoughts in your life and how it was spent has any merit. Learning to play piano while depriving yourself to hundreds of games is maybe not an equal trade off.
Do you to the meritless assumption you are worth more as a human learning piano? Are you worth more with another language? All relative and equally objectively as useful.
While you could make the argument that learning s language allows more to communicate to more people. Not playing a game can cut you off to thousands of people in a community with a similar interests. With no guarantee you will meet someone worth your time.
You can conclude learning said language or music opens more revenue ventures? While highly unlikely let's say it does. Let's say you have more money to buy more things. Do said objects make you s better person? Are you more valued now?
Instead you should learn to separate external sources in correlation to your ego. God actually have mercy if in you cling on to such simple things using them to bloster yourself. I. The end we are all equally worthless and faint. No one has a higher or lower right to live. The world ends with yourself and your deeds and accomplishment are a spec.
Luke Murphy
You hear that? Me either, because no one fucking asked.
Does playing piano and painting mean you have natural curiosity and interest in the wolrd?
Michael Cooper
nobody gives a fuck if you are learning a language, or have hobbies lol, if anything it annoys the type of person you think it would impress to just bring that shit up out of the blue
Nathaniel Walker
Nah fuck that it's boring. Video games are fun.
Owen Wright
So user what do you do in your free time? “I uhhh hhh uhhh I like to play piano and uuuhhhh I’m learning Norwegian.....That’s interesting user, if only all guys could be as smart and enlightened like you”
Xavier Scott
literally only reason i'm learning spanish is because it will make some books have more depth for me
Isaiah Bennett
During pandemic I've >Learned more about cooking >Learned cheesemaking >Got better at baking >Learned more woodworking >Learned more about gardening >Currently learning metallurgy I'm a mathematician by trade, fuck off with your bullshit. I'm going to play vidya whenever I want. Piano is boring as shit, and painting is expensive.
Sebastian Sanchez

Nolan Allen
lol it doesn't even go that well, they usually think you are a fucking douchebag if you talk like that, OP is a faggot wannabe social climber
Henry Brown
TICK. TOCK.
Oliver Parker
On my cock
Carter Ross
Or you could do or learn things that actually make you more money, you know the thing that gives you more freedom?
And once you're rich you can live any sort of life you want for the most part.
Having 'classy' hobbies is totally personal opinion, if you want a relatively objective way to improve your life you 1. Do whatever fucking hobby you want and 2. Make money
Alexander Carter
I learned English and still get bullied by the native speakers on a daily basis
gamers are basically like stoners. these threads always devolve into >dude who cares nothing really matters we're all just wasting our time in the end, some virgin with a brain full of CSGO is an equal human to somebody who "wastes" their time learning things
it is high time the #diamonddogs make their comeback. that's right, this signals our return, and we're taking no prisoners this time.
you can actually make money from those things though.
Christian Morales
I didn't do that for enrichment. I did it because it looked cool/fun and jumped into it. I honestly only started losing interest in shit, when someone else decided that I should use that skill to benefit them at their whim (for example, I should cook big elaborate meals of dishes that don't interest me for some dinner party or some shit). I don't know if I explained it well.
Jason Wright
Lol fag
Nathan Ortiz
How about making an actual argument against that instead of posting a picture with green text? I'll wait...
