After 20 years of just accumulating games from childhood gifts to my own purchases, I just have no drive.

I've basically come to the decision that should something happen to them i'll just not collect physical anymore, but as long as I still have my copies, I'll continue to build it little by little with the things I love to play and revisit.

Fires are legit the most scary thing that can happen because it doesnt matter if its you or not, your next door neighbor can have a fire, and you'll just get it by proxy because they were dumbasses who couldn't control the blaze. You legitimately get punished for doing absolutely nothing. Your entire house can burn down with everything in it and it won't even be your fault, and all you'll get is a "money settlement" from your insurance based on the value of your furniture, they dont give a shit about your collectibles or media worth despite that it may be 10X the worth of your fucking couch.

Not much and my collection wasn't that big. I posted very attractive prices to get quick sales. I'm still keeping SSBM around (as a memento) and the GCN because it doesn't work well anymore and I wouldn't want to sell something broken. Also have two controllers and the USB adaptor for the Wii U. You can play absolutely anything with that on your PC. After playing BOTW on CEMU with a GCN controller I realized I wouldn't need any console ever again.
