I'm not a racing sim guy, and this is my first in the series so I can't comment on its quality over the rest of the Forza games, but I've been playing a lot of this lately, and it's a lot of fun.

The physics feel great and get arcadey without rankling my 'tism, it's just a lot of fun to drive around for no reason, and the game overall has this sense of

which is a refreshing take over the racing sims I'm used to, like Gran Turismo, where the cars and tracks are all SERIOUS BZNS, which is fine, but can get tiring after a while.

Forza Horizon is like a toy box filled with almost every toy car available and thats what makes it so great.

Modern technologies can do amazing things sometimes.

Shame that horizon 4 dlc couldn't live up to hot wheels

F1 has to be most boring, coma inducing (motor) sport I've ever seen. All that fucking money, effort and theatrics and it still puts people to sleep. GoKart is cheaper and has the same appeal.

-The cockpit is extremely resistant while the rest of the car breaks "easily" (easily at the speeds of a crash, this is)
-The cockpit includes a partial roof that protected his head as the car punched through the barriers
-Fireproof wear resists fire for a good amount of seconds

this is why modern racing is boring to me. all these safety rules bringing the vehicles down from their full potential. these races should be about making the best car. not everybody racing around in the same safe cuck mobile.
