You have to keep playing and practising. If your reflexes aren't good, learn the patterns and what to look out for. Then you concentrate in dodging just the things you are concentrated on, and ignore the rest. Sometimes you can dodge by looking at the bullets coming towards you from a long distance, and sometimes you just have to focus on the ones that are close to you and nothing else. 90% of the screen full of bullets is nothing but noise, the only thing that matters is dodging the bullets aimed towards you and the ones right next to you.

For example, if you know Orin throws a big circle of bullets aimed right towards you and that will kill you if it hits, all your efforts should be on going through the obstacles to get out of the way of that big circle that's moving in a straight line. Just focus on finding the path that will allow you to not die. That's how I like to think about it, find the easiest path and go through it.

Bomb more. These games give you a shit ton of resources. You can just learn stages 1-3, accumulate resources, bomb everything that gives you any trouble between stages 4-5, and bang, you are at stage 6. Now it's just a matter of improving just a biiiiit more, and you have your 1cc. You are now above the skill level of 90% of touhou fans, and all it took was an adequate resource management instead of becoming a superhuman or anything like that.
