I stopped being a console fag at the end of the snes era. While consoles were showing the ugliest 3d graphics, I was blasting through quake with mouse free look on
Now things have changed. Pc gaming is buggy as hell, and the amount of annoyances are quite big. I love the choice but I always end up tinkering more than playing.
I ended up buying a xbone x on amazon, a refurbished one for 200 and paid 4 months of Gamepass. I've probably played more time than 2 years on pc combined, because I just power on and play games.
I love playing from my couch and not having to deal with patches and tinkering. It does not give me the best visuals, but it's a very streamlined experience I appreciate

I enjoy the "just play games" aspect of consoles now
I don't like the game prices, though. I buy on the gray market, and used bundles and trading. On consoles the only way to play for cheap is being a physical fag. I went digital years ago so it's a huge nono
