Is the PoolGPU supposed to be set to your dedicated GPU memory or GPU memory? Task manager shows 4gb for "Dedicated GPU Memory" but 11.9gb for "GPU Memory".

if you have 11gb vram gpu type in 11gb

Linux Manjaro XFCE (as an example of distro people frequently game on) uses 250mb of RAM

It's probably not a fair comparison since windows probably de-allocates itself as programs request more available memory, but at the same time there's so many other processes and services and daemons running that maybe not

Jesus fuck I was pulling like maybe tops 65 fps usually with a 2070S and as low as 27 fps in some places like outside of V's apartment when flying past in a car, now on my latest save outside of pepe's bar I have 96~109fps how the fuck did this rookie mistake slip past?
I'll have to drive to V's apartment to see the difference

Go to Megabuilding H8, where Wakako is. Vast improvment on my side with everything on now (lens, chrom abr. etc.)

The game doesn't use these configs, it is a bug if it does. I'm getting 100% CPU and GPU usage with 2 different cards. 1060 and 2070.

Steam inbuilt overlay has an fps counter function. Alternatively NZXT monitor has a small overlay that tracks fps, cpu, gpu and ram usage as well as temps

Yeah just by the gates it just stays around 62-ish fps but walking past and going around makes it go up and down between that and 80 and sometimes up to 90 something, I'm gonna check the last place I know really tanks the frames for me before which is that alley-way where misty's shop is

GTX 1060 6GB. I've tried changing the config to different values but it hasn't changed anything, so it most likely does not use those values unless it's a bug like the one with AMD CPUs which also was an easy fix.

just set this shit both cpu and gpu to 0 and got a massive fucking boost in fps and image quality, jump from previous mid to high, from high to ultra on all settings, rock solid 60fps, goes even beyond
