>Game comes out a bit early with some bugs then gets patched a few weeks later >>"WTF THIS GAME IS SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'D DO THIS PATCHES CAME TOO LATE FAILURE OF THE CENTURY REEEEE"
>Game gets delayed by a few weeks to patch the bugs then released it later >>"This is fine."
Explain this mentality to me. Obviously, they will fix the Cyberpunk bugs in upcoming patches which are already planned, so the only problem is that you got a bit of an early access.
Like shit if you're going to spaz out this much just turn off the game and close your eyes until the patch comes out.
Ehh, they've cornered themselves with previous delays. There would be a massive backlash if they delayed it again, also marketing department would get a collective brain aneurysm.
Robert Brown
Simple: they have no self control. It's what happens when you play videogames and drink beer (the most estrogenic substance on earth) all day and don't exercise. You turn into a child.
Noah Morales
They shouldn't be releasing an early access product and advertising it as a complete product at full price. Also, the game simply just isn't that good.
Christian Russell
>a bit early >some bugs
Kill yourself.
Brody Allen
Also this is the absolute prime time to release a video game. With people staying indoors and upcoming christmas.
People like getting upset about stupid shit. Who knew?
Joshua Bell
It's simple. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

>game gets delayed over half a year to make it playable >comes out after delays and is riddled with bugs and fulfills none of the promises made prior to release
>No Man's Sky >Anthem >ME: Andromeda >FO:76 >Ghost Recon: BP
People are sick of developers publishing games that aren't ready for release. Just fix the shit and playtest it before release.
Nolan Wilson
Almost no other consumer base would defend a company for releasing a shoddy, incomplete product to be fixed at some unspecified later date Gaymers are spineless consoomers
Jaxson Bailey
Regardless of the bugs and performance issues, the game itself is very lackluster though. Story has a decent start but waters down after a while. The gameplay and map is pretty blant and basic. It's really just a 6/10 or 7/10 game and no patch will fix that. The AI, physics and dynamic world is non existent which also just ruins the emersion overal.
I'm playing this as someone with little to no performance issues and having experienced very few bugs. Those aren't the problems. The game itself has inherent issues that can't be fixed with a simple patch.
Bentley Sanchez
>60 dollars >delayed three times >just think of it as early access bro! this is your brain on buyers remorse and sunken cost
Aiden Robinson
>a bit early How many years and delays has it taken them to make this mess?
Hunter Richardson
>my steak was served to me raw and made me sick but at least they called an ambulance vs >my steak took a bit longer to be served but it was done to expectations I just want a complete product instead of paying to beta-test a game for them.
Kayden Cruz
>food analogy You can do better than that, user
Luis Barnes
Food analogies are a time honored Zig Forums tradition
Gabriel Perry
>buy a car >steering locks so can't turn and brakelines were never connected resulting in permanent injury the car manufacturer pays for your medical expenses vs >buy a car >it works fine and was made to last idk either way I want a complete product, not some buggy mess I have to pay to play test for them shipping "unfinished" products should be something that gets you fined and criticised in any case, toy or tool
Julian Johnson
Sane here, but unfortunately this game will set the new example simply because of all the sales it got. Devs will think it's fine to shit out buggier and buggier products just to patch it up later. That's why I was so against this game's release from the very beginning.
The more people buy and support developers like this the worse it becomes for the hobby. We're going backwards. Games aren't becoming better at all
Dominic Brown
Can't fix the awful linear story where none of your choices have any affect on the ending except for the ones you made on a single mission
Samuel Brown
The only reason they didn't delay it more is they wanted to hit the Christmas window. Greedy Jews.
Jayden Collins
That's literally the point. Don't charge people for a game you know isn't ready. If it needs two more weeks' worth of cooking to clear up some of the bugs and performance issues we've seen, then give it two more fucking weeks.
Ian Clark
>Egg comes out a bit early with some eggshell then gets hatched a few weeks later >>'WTF THIS CHICKEN IS SHIT I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'D SELL THIS EGG AS A CHICKEN THIS CAME TOO LATE FAILURE OF THE HEN-TURY REEEEEE'
>Egg gets delayed by a few weeks to grow then becomes a chicken later >>'This is fine.'
Explain this mentality to me. Obviously, time will fix the egg in upcoming days which are already planned, so the only problem is that you got a bit of an unhatched egg. Like shit if you're going to cluck out this much just kill the chicken and close your eyes until the days roll by.
Brody Cruz
Remember when you bought a new game and it actually worked as intended? Internet was a fucking mistake.
Henry Cook
It's not some bugs you complete retard. Half of the game is fucked.
Julian Anderson
If you want to look at examples of how not to do it, look at Battlefield 4 and Batman Arkham Knight One was rushed for release and took A YEAR to get all the launch bugs patched out The other was so broken on PC that it was removed from sale and basically had to be remade from the ground up to work I see Cyberpunk placed in the BF4 slot, but worse cause it was in production for years and delayed several times before release and still full of so many bugs I don't even I might get Cyberpunk in 5 years, when its finished
Carter Peterson
This is Zig Forums. Our Job is to complain about things that aren't worth complaining about in order to make us feel special. We have nothing else going on. This is all we have. Let us have this.
Adam Russell
I don’t care. I don’t buy American woke games no matter how good they might be.
Logan Campbell
Your "indie" dev doesnt get a free pass, just like Bethesda and Ubisoft
Liam Scott
I dont even care about bugs and glitches, most of them are silly little things that I kinda enjoy seeing. What is fucking bullshit is the game is barebones, having just played Yakuza 7 the whole game feels empty, where are the people, where are the fucking minigames? Why isnt pachinko playable?
