Geoff always sounds like he's in a hurry and there are a bunch of trivial/stupid categories that are just announced dismissively in a short 2 minute segment or just online outside the show.

Geoff COULD make it all about games, limit the politics, and focus on nothing but what matters. But caring about something doesn't pay the bills. Money does. I prefer it that way. The first year was mainly spent on the awards but then Geoff recognized that the only reason people are tuning in is for the game announcements so that has become the actual focus. It's basically e3 in December.

Focus purely on gaming and keep away from oscar shit besides advancement in graphics, animation. Since its glorified ads showcase why each game is nominated.
