It was a step down from GTA IV in a lot of ways but looking at Cyberpunk, it wasn't a complete disaster.
Mods help a lot too, so I hope CDPR releases extensive tools on-par with Bethesda's.

It's good for the car customization. Everything else is trash. Shooting could have been great if they'd 1:1 copy Max Payne 3's instead of doing whatever the hell they did.
And the online mode is a whole different shit heap with its own problems.

Tbh now that im 25 looking back I never really liked GTA all too much. I liked it more as a kid but these days not really. I really liked 4 and Niko but I wouldnt really replay it.
I think its the humor it really isnt my cup of tea anymore. Ive been enjoying red dead alot better since its more serious. Even my favorite Vice city is only good for nostalgia now.

This, or make each character have a separate campaigns that parallel with each other like in GTA IV and the DLCs. Maybe they work together in some missions but not too much.

It sucks. Its just a huge sandbox you shoot and blow shit up in with a bunch of shitty minigames sprinkled about. Unlike san andreas even the characters and story sucks so theres no redeemable qualities.

The only advantage they ever talk about with GTA IV are the characters and "muh ragdoll!!" when the gameplay, mission design, and online are miles worse in GTAIV than in GTAV.
