Honest CP2077 opinion

oldfag here, I was expecting an open-world Deus Ex with Witcher 3 tier stories and sidequests and this is exactly what I got

I had no expectations towards combat but after 50 hours I feel it's the most engaging part of the game. Much more interesting than in Witcher and Deus Ex, I'm actually motivated in doing side quests to get money, upgrade my INT + TECH build. Looting is cool, testing new weapons is cool, exploring the world for schematics to exploit the crafting system is cool

the most annoying so far was non existing Meredith romance and people trying to sell me their cars around every corner

what the game misses:
>a single sandbox mechanics like upgrading/buying apartments or similar
>one or two random NPC mechanics to make the world feel a bit more alive
>more romance options
>more dark and disturbing quests
>character customization
>more augmentation mechanics

if they add the above through free (or paid I don't care) DLC's this is an easy 10/10 game. I've been playing since the very first release hour and never experienced any serious bugs. people complaining about the pedestrian or car AI behavior are children with nothing better to do in their lives

also, the fact that CDPR spoiled the entire Johnny Silverhand plot in the game trailers was their biggest mistake. if the main plot was something each end every player discovered and experienced by himself, that would be an instant GOTY in everyone's eyes

at least I'm not a nigger

It’s a fine game but the incessant glitches and bugs are really a killjoy though. It could have used an extra 6 months in the oven.

is 2014 oldfag now?

Interesting, posts like these instead of "MUH TORTANIC/MUH GREATEST GAME EVER" are always welcome

How's the game run? I have a 3700X and a 580 8GB and I've been getting some inconsistent answers on whether or not I can run it comfortably at 1080p with relatively high settings

If you faggots shut down the Shazam shit while it was happening these past few months you wouldn't be dealing with it now

>I expected Dues Ex
>Only cybermod that does anything at all is the double jump
Woah much cyber, such punk.

by favourite thing is how they portrayed the dystiopian future, were greed and degeneracy ruined everything

After 26 hours in think it does some things right while it fucks up in many important aspects. I haven't run into many bugs on my PC version. Ai is actually my biggest problem. Inside and outside of combat ai is not as good as it should be.
Lack of weapon and car customization and the lack of skins for weapons is another thing.
Also, why is there only one finished for stealth and every meele weapon? I love the mantis blades but that finisher takes too long and why can't I perform stealth finishers with my weapons?
Lastly who thought double tap dodge on the movement keys was a good idea? I keep dodging out of stealth at the worst moments.
Atmosphere, the overall design of the city and the story are the strongest points of the game.
I think this game will be really good eventually if the devs work out the problems and add the cut content through dlc.

now probably, faggots figured out they totally fucked up AMD threads or something and now people are getting 40%+ better frames.

if not the bugs i rly love this game. its stunning to watch at it on pc

The gameplay and """RPG"""" systems is shitty looter shooter garbage. The open world content Highlights how garbage Witcher 3 really was. You're unironically better off setting the game to easy and just playing through story quests only. There's no challenge to the game, even on Very Hard because of the braindead AI.

It's Witcher 3 but with even more useless clutter in a GTA map.

Not a RPG, it's looter shooter SHIT.

>open-world Deus Ex
Oxymoron that shows you understand nothing about the Deus Ex series

I have a laptop with GTX 2080ti, playing on ultra in 1080p in almost constant 60 fps. new Nvidia drivers made a day and night difference in terms of performance

so much this

Testing new weapons? There’s like 7 in the entire game

>play on easy
>complain it's a looter shooter
let me guess, you are a nigger?

right, if they added loading screens and much vents to crawl through in every quest + invisibility augments you would be happy?

Clearly a shill. However, the fact that he mentions a lot of flaws that everyone wants fixed means this is a leak for what's to come.
Can't wait until they add better character customization and romance options.

Oh but you are.

>Clear single story office, duplex, ect. building of goons
>Walk back through mashing F to pick everything up
>Repeat ad infinitum
Difficulty has nothing to do with the crafting and equipment cycle and recycling.

No, but it would be an improvement

I’m accumulated CDPR shares starting tomorrow. I dont even play video games but the complainers seem like huge fags.

I have the same issues with it as I did with Outer Worlds pretty much. Boring, samey, Borderlands esque looter shooter shit that's not really an RPG. They both get mogged even by nu-Bethesda shit. Its only saving grace is that the story stuff is much better.

The good:
> on paper, the setting is really fucking good
> the art style is top tier (one of the few games I can remember that I stopped doing what I was suppossed to just to look at the buildings or at the cool clothing of an npc)
> the story and your role in it fit really good with the game: you are hood rat that got involved in a situation too big for him, and the game constantly reminds you of this (maybe this is just a personal taste, but I love playing a game where Im just another piece of the board, not a walking god that everyone sucks its dick)
> MC voice acting and character feels really good (but this could be easily a negative for the people that want a blank state to roleplay)

The bad:
> unfinished game, no way around it
> diagusting amount of bugs
> not a real rpg, every approach to almost ever missions feels like a direct insult to anyone that ever play an RPG
> plain lying in its marketing (life paths, dialog options, etc)
> nothing to do outside of missions: you literally feel like the game is cockblocking you from intereracting with its world, theres no side activities
> driving its not even a bad joke
> worst AI Ive seen in any game in the last 5-8 years, maybe even more

everyone who thinks CDPR shares will tank if delusional. they've sold more copies than predicted.

their reputation got damaged, but they can afford to release additional content for this game for 1-2 years and share it for free. every time they do they will market it as the base game. in the end they will release cyberpunk online with microtransactions and milk it even more

this is the reason the entire game was made with next gen hardware in mind. they want to support it for about 5 years instead of releasing a new games

I’m not in the crowd wishing for refunds since I’m finding some e I elements fun but it’s a shame they are buried under so many technical and game design issues.

>> not a real rpg, every approach to almost ever missions feels like a direct insult to anyone that ever play an RPG
the quest approach is literally the same as it was in all Witcher games, Baldurs Gate and other classics.

You clearly haven't even touched the game. Or even watched some of the trailer. That's just sad shitposting.
Yikes my dude, yikes.

Yeah it’s a technical nightmare, it’s amazing with so many examples of what not to do like Andromeda and Anthem they still felt this was an acceptable launch state for the game. You don’t get do overs with first impressions.

>have absolute shit hardware
>omg the next-gen game doesn't work
the game was streamed on day one by hundreds of people. there were some retards playing it just for the bugs and to gain some cancer following around that. but most of the streams were totally fine with occasional skyrim or witcher 3 release tier glitches, nothing game breaking.

day 1 of the release on PS4 was a fuckup that's true, but it's not even week after and everyone reports iit's fixed

I'm just near the final stretch now, just ready to go to Embers. The most depressing thing about the game is that it feels like all companions just straight up abandon you at some point.

Even as you straight up admit to them that you haven't got long and you complete their arcs, it's just nothing.

CP2077 gives you much more loneliness feels in contrast to Witcher which was a fairy tale. btw I'm 50 hours in but only halfway through the main story, I think. side quests are really interesting desu
