So it takes place after ME3?

Yes

People often tell me how great ME soundtrack is. But to me it feels like generic orchestral AAA lame shit... Like it's cool at times but it doesn't evoke any unique defining feeling to me.
Am i the only one that feels like this?

The reapers are back? Protheans are the end game? Or what

Which is the canon ending?

Destroy

What the fuck are you talking about? Mass Effect's soundtrack is pretty much all synth.

Destroy but only the 100% one in which Shepard lives.

Destroy is the easiest to make a sequel to.

I can't see how considering all the huge shit that you influence in 3.

If Geth/Quarian unification is not canon and Shep chose to kill all Synth's then I have zero interest.

Why do devs do multiple endings if they're going to just go ahead and make one of them the "right choice" anyway?

The other non-canon endings just become irrelevant "haha what if" novelty scenarios that don't matter and no one will bother to choose with anyway.

KROGAN ROMANCE

>destroy ending
>100s of years of dark ages from systems being cut off from each other
>sol system in particular is extremely fucked due to all the different races stuck there
this is going to be kino

I'm looking for the image macro from the mass effect forums where there is that dev that takes offence to the red, green, blue ending distinction, and then gets btfo when someone posts that the video files in the game are actually labeled ending red/green/blue.

I dont really recall any orchestral music in mass effect. its mostly synth wave stuff, which in general is not very common

>indoctrination theory canon

>I can't see how considering all the huge shit that you influence in 3.
It's pretty easy.

>Quarians/Geth
Rannoch's star went nova scattering both races. So it doesn't matter what Shepard chose. The few survivors have to band together or else stay separate. Whatever is easiest for the sequel.

>Genophage Cure
Somebody made sure a new virus was used to infect the krogan, so it doesn't matter what Shepard did.

>Ending Choices
A mysterious energy wave passed over the galaxy sometime after Shepard used the Crucible. This energy wave nullifies whatever the Crucible did and enforces Destroy. So it doesn't matter what Shepard chose.

SYNTHESIS AND CONTROL ENDINGS CONFIRMED FOR INDOCTRINATION

>based coomer Bioware of old is gone

The game will be filled with disgusting females like Andromeda.

Considering the controversy behind everything that went down, I legitimately wouldn't be surprised or put it against them if they create an entirely new ending canon that wasn't actually in 3.

If anything I think that's what most people want: A ending where the Reapers fuck off but you don't kill all the Geth and basically destroy all interstellar society.

I hate everything you wrote, not just because it's awful but because it's something Bioware would actually pull.

what if the remastered trilogy has new endings that connect with ME4?

You're not getting those voice actors all back probably.

Best guess is that it is post Red ending, where all AI and mass relays in the galaxy blow up. Remaining survivors have to rebuild galactic society without easy travel.

The villains from the Andromeda galaxy probably.
Liara climbs on a dead reaper, and see you another one in the background. Looks like it's destroy.

It's really all they can do if they make a sequel. It's that or they set down a specific canon for ME3.

There's plenty of orchestra sounds, specially in ME2's music, just listen to the suicide mission.
user is a fag though, the soundtrack is consistently good throughout the trilogy.

>Andromeda is an actual Mass Effect game that came out almost 4 years ago

Why does NO ONE care or remember?

Because the story was shit
And in a heavily story dependent series like Mass Effect, thats a death sentence.

ME always had a shit story, as well as shitty RPG mechanics.
It was the characters and their relationships that held the house of cards together.

I'm guessing andromeda fucked that up too.

Exactly

Someone cared to cancel its two sequels and all its DLCs.
Not just the story. Characters and graphics were shit too. And there were wokeness and SJW shit in it. And all those damn and hilariously bad bugs and animation errors.
