why
Why
It says why right there. It's unrealistic.
I think it's because it wasn't realistic.
Why is that man wearing a dress?
What did they substitute it with?
what the fuck is wrong with that? triangle was in place since 1990, it worked
ah yes, the staple of the Fire Emblem franchise: realism.
Is this realistic?
rhea got a dumptruck ass
quicktime events
Yeah because 3 houses strives for realism with their saturday morning cartoon take on game of thrones politicz
The pope is a dragon and there are mole people plotting your downfall with dubstep nukes and you're concerned with the absence of a rock paper scissors game?
yes. the system is not realistic, and neither are the things you mentioned. i want the triangle.
why not keep all the unrealism in it? why make a change now?
Things that are also unrealistic in Three Houses
>Magic
>Whip Swords
>Dragons
>People that can turn into Dragons
>Aliens
>Giant Robots
>Monsters
>Pegasus
>Wyverns
>People that have natural blue, green, and purple hair
Adding the Weapons Triangle to 3 Houses only improves it.
While it's not really in the game, it still kind of is in the game. Let's be real though. The weapon triangle, regardless of realism, is whack anyways.
big geometry cracking down on shapism
it's not whack it's cool
triangle is one of the reasons conquest is such a fucking good game
FE1 didn't have a weapon triangle. The weapon triangle was never a core FE mechanic.
Bro's be honest. Does the logic behind the weapons triangle even make sense?
doesn't matter if it makes sense, as long as its consistent
(i would be curious to see how concealed weapons beat magic, or how magic beats bows)
The sword/axe/lance aspect makes sense, but idk about the bows/concealed/magic bit
never played a fire emblem game but it makes sense from a glance
>swords/magic can close the distance between axe/bows (assuming the bow user doesn't have an arrow ready)
>lances are large weapons and can be mitigated by a smaller weapon like an axe or a ranged weapon like a bow
>lance thrusting range outclasses swords and can probably hit magic users from a safe distance
runescape had a similar sort of weapon triangle but it boiled down to melee -> ranged -> magic rather than different physical and ranged types being mixed together
Well it sort of makes sense in terms of Homer's Illiad.
Greek and Trojan warriors would start with a spear. And after they threw that they'd switch to a short sword.
So Lance > Sword makes sense. Then sometimes, and axe would get pulled out in the Illiad. So axes exist. Logically Lance beats sword, so axe can't also beat sword. So axe beats lance, and sword beats axe.
Well they sure learned their fucking lesson when they tried to back track on it in the DLC, but the weapon breaker skills are not a good replacement.
i got 20 nintendo bucks, should i buy the DLC for 3h or put it towards smash?
The triangle is present in the game, but as skills you equip.
smash DLC i mean
Because it was always a pointless mechanic.
Removing the braindead RPS triangle system was one of the best things TH did even if you don't like other things about it.
Fates triangle is fucking retarded.
>Fates is fucking retarded.
Indeed.
>NOOOOOOO NOT THE HECKIN WEAPON TRIANGLERINO!!! MUH DEEP STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY1!!
