Why does RGB trigger you retards so much? You know you can just turn the lights off.
RGB
are you 13y kid
It's wasting power for one.
you know people keep saying this but kids don't actually own anything RGB because that shit is expensive
same thing with car modding. they have RGB underglow kits and shit they show off at car meets
Then why the fuck would you get the rgb then?
I love RGB!
True, it's adults with the minds of 13 year old kids that get RGB shit.
Used to hate rgb but recently bought keyboard and mouse with this colorful shit so my life became a little brighter
I legit don't know how to turn my off on my tower and it's kind of annoying at night.
My fault for being a paranoid faggot and buying a prebuilt though.
look at any prebuilt. if a mother wanta to get her son a gaming pc she virtually has no other option than to go with cheap flashy rgb
A) because you pay for it.
B)Because it wattage which can go to other things like fans/pump or pure performance. Which for power limited hardware (GPU) can use for performance. If I told you RGB or another 0.1 FPS only a fool chooses RGB
Its not only prebuild issue. Look at high end GPUs almost all come with RGB its not even optional. You can turn it off but the RGB components ae already there, you paid for it and its wastful.
it's a box i use to play my video games, not a christmas tree
glass panels are also big gay
Glass panels are harmless. RGB is actively detracting
>costs extra
>does nothing but makes the heat dissipation tiny little bit worse
gay i said
>makes the heat dissipation tiny little bit worse
Citation needed. Seriously doubt glass makes any difference is a properly ventilated case
And sure it gots a little more but its still harmless while RGB can actively hurt performance
>comparing this to car modding
any kid can buy some faggy $100 RGB fan kit or keyboard with his Christmas money
You know the PSU can just draw more power? You might increase your electric bill by 0.2kWHs over a month, which is a few extra cents each month. The real issue may be software-controlled lighting, which could use CPU and have an impact on performance.
Exactly, that's also why I don't use wallpaper engine, I like to conserve CPU power
>You know the PSU can just draw more power?
You do realize GPUs have a cap how much power they can draw. If the card BIOS is programmed to lock at 250W it will lock at 250W.
It doesn't trigger me, I just don't understand why it's a thing. Components not glowing usually looks way better.
RGB eventually gets old when you have it. You stop caring about the insides of your PC.
It's a matter of personal preference. Some people might actually consider it immersive, or pretty (like Christmas trees), or artistic, or what have you.
In any case, you're already spending extra on hardware specifically designed to waste time in the form of games, so why not go the extra mile and engage in unrestrained consumerism on useless lights so you can entertain yourself outside of games?
It has to trigger anybody with at least a some sense of aesthetics.
MORE COLOR MORE GOODER AMIRITE
At this point you're not really paying extra for RGB cause it's on everything but I guess I see your point.
LEDs?
>uv lights in case
>glowing water cooling loop
>yellow/red/black pay spaghetti
>bare metal psu
>cgi babes on gpu
>bare metal hdd and optical disk
>Transparent acrylic case with laser etched Miku
>cheap mobo with different colour pci slots and heatsinks
my next build is going to be one without rgb and without a tempered glass side panel on the case, It's going for maximum airflow and no shitty ass AIO or shit maintenance custom loop.
change my mind on why this would not be a good decision.
It will look fucking boring
Go full gamer or just get a mac
In some instances you are. I payed $120 for some corsair meme argebee fans and I think MAYBE 40 (if that) of that goes into the actual fan.
Do a sleeper build.
RGB can either look completely horrible or decent depending on people's taste. Which means it looks completely horrible 90% of the time.
