Been a long time since I played a quest this good in a game lads. One of the best quest in the game so far. It was straight out of Witcher 3. MORE LIKE THIS

someone should make a list of all the worthwhile quests because every one I've played has been a miserable waste of time

The sidegig where you have to find the people responsible for a tv preachers son through the makers of black market bds was short but good. Wasn't expecting to actually get angry over such a quick quest.

You did kill father & son, didn't you user?

This. I felt the same thing. Just the idea of someone killing a child for monetary gain made my blood boil.

The dad and son both react to each others death, so its also kino.

Nope. I left the father alive. His most prized possession was his son - someone he was happily teaching his business and bringing him into that disgusting world.
I left him crying over his boy like all the fathers pain he got benefited from. Police bitch even agreed with me afterwards

My boy was murdered at the age of 6. I did not think a quest in a janky game like Cyberpunk would affect me at my core like that one did.

>run into gig
>fuck should do it need some cash
>blah blah blah bitch goes on and on about literally who cares
>silently break some necks
>get to room
>some two guys going on about braindances? something about making smutt/death porn, i don't know who cares
>no extra reward for letting them live or die
>blast them both because they won't shut up and are ugly
>take quest item
>leave and collect cash
>buy a nice new 6-slot cyberdeck with it
i love this game

Kek

Im sorry about that. I hope the person who did it is suffering or dead.

You sure you're not misunderstanding "Contracts" for actual side quests like a lot of the retards on this board?
Every single side quest I've played so far have been great.

Where is this quest?

Rotting in prison. Should he ever get out there's a bullet waiting.

Not sure exactly where but it's at the docks close to the market there - upper left side of the map maybe?. Side quest about saving a monk from getting implants around the corner

I feel bad for the people who thought it was going to be "Grand Theft Skyrim: Cyberpunk" though. Because it's not, its "The Witcher 3: Cyberpunk" and it is great at being that.

I emptied the entire magazine and left the father weeping next to what was left of the body.

I'm confused on this because I feel a lot of the game changes based on your playstyle, and not in a necessarily good way. A lot of the missions seem to expect/encourage you to play if not pure stealth, than some kind of hybrid of it. Enemy conversations, the lore of the mission, its all only really communicated if you don't rush in and just shoot everyone, which is what half the builds in the game seem designed to do.

>"Hey V go get some black-market BD from these guys so we can investigate it."
>ok
>walk into the building, punch everyone in the face and 1-shot them to death on very hard
>walk into the last room, dad and son are editing BDs
>'Hey I'm here for some BD you guys edited, where is it?'
>"Back there, please take it and don't hurt us."
>Take the BD, leave without opposition
>Contractor says 'thanks, mission complete'

Am I missing something here why this would be considered a good quest or investing in the slightest? It takes all of like 45 seconds and has nothing engaging about it that I even took note of.

So I ended up warning the husband about people affecting his brain. Did I choose the wrong option?

The monk that got augments against his will?
I think I've fucked up this quest because I ignored him once and when I came back later his friend was with him with his tongue cut.

Yeah you fucked that one up. Some quests seem to actually rely on urgency and others randomly don't. You're supposed to go in non-lethal and get him out

Gamers are braindead, they are too easily influenced by a game's visuals. If it has cars and guns and open world they expect GTA.
It's pretty obvious that Xyberpunk 2077 was never meant to be a sandbox game, it wouldn't make sense. Just like TW3 it has a story-driven open world.
It's basically a Deus Ex game, the city acting like a giant hub

b-but they say the quests are on rail and your choices don't matter in this game

fuck

I second that question

They don't, CDProjekt just has this weird fetish about timed quests without warning. All Witcher games had these too where you could ride past a situation/BARELY get in range of an event, not even notice it, and it would complete itself a few minutes later. It's not engaging, it's just frustrating as shit trying to figure out which quests when they go "WE HAVE TO HURRY AND GET TO X" mean 'You actually can do 500 sidequests, it doesn't matter' whereas which when they go "WE HAVE TO HURRY AND GET TO X" mean 'if you do more than 1 sidequest before doing this task we will mark it as 'took too long' and it'll auto-fail.'

Definitely on Watson. Other user is talking about a different quest mind you, the one about the kid's snuff BD is a gig the Regina gal sends your way, in a Maelstrom warehouse.

Thanks

I think they just made all side quests that are urgent actually be urgent in cyberpunk. The main quests aren't. Even stuff like getting a message from the corpo milf to fuck. If you don't reply or get to the motel before the night is out she messages you saying who the fuck do you think you are and to watch your back

If you did he will send you a message then you see phone was disconnected / number blocked some of that shit.
Later you can see in elevator TV that he wins and announces some changes to NC, he looks ecstatic, barely like the man who faced the truth.
I didn't play the other option but I'm sure he'd win in this scenario as well. I tried to go back to their apartment but I can't get in.

Maybe there are more hints I haven't found but IMO it doesn't matter what you choose, AI/Grey eminence always wins

So you're saying sometimes choices do matter? Thanks for confirming

I figured this quest might be a hint at a dlc concerning rouge a.i's that are slowly manipulating society.
I really was hoping for more quests where you explore cyberspace with the voodoo boys
