Is this about New Vegas or Cyberpunk?
good, I don't to get locked out of all the endings because I sneezed in the wrong direction
New Vegas
Except Fallout has dozens of endings for each quest.
What were CDPR thinking? Did they think people will forgive them just because Night City looks good at night?
Why would you sneed in a direction to begin with?????
my money's on Ass Defect 3
did you even finish the game?
> if you didn't do side quests, all but 2 endings are locked entirely.
> changes (slightly) based on what characters you have a relationship with and which ones you kept alived or let die during the story
It clearly about the Witcher 3
The lifepaths were just incredibly insulting honestly.
It's actually disgusting how hard they peddled and hyped it up.
i don't get it. why should most dialogue have a huge impact on the story? dialogue heavy games are mostly inconsequential bullshit or worldbuilding, not big choices.
Replayability. They said that we shouldn't expect a game as long as Witcher 3 because of bullshit reasons, but that there were basically 3 smaller games depending on the life paths. Sounded like bullshit, turned out to be bullshit, but millions bought into it.
god damn..
do you guys think that with enough patches and DLCs it will become what was promised?
i dont mind waiting another 2-3 years if that means actually getting what it was promised.
but theyll probably only release new DLCs without changing the core mechanics of the game right? basically more style but still no substance?
Name one (1) RPG where your choices actually had caused a drastic change in the story.
>gameplay loop
lel
>Name one (1) RPG where they promised your choices actually had caused a drastic change in the story but didnt deliver
Mass Effect 3
Fallout 3 and 4
Every Dragon Age
Every Baldur's Gate
Every Obsidian game except Alpha Protocol
cool, you are absolutely right bro. i guess its fine to promise stuff and not deliver, after all many before did it as well, so its totally fine!
ahhhhh kill yourself
I don't think it's possible to do what was promised at this point without thoroughly exploding the engine and refactoring it majorly. So yeah, missed opportunity of a lifetime...
Succint but correct take. Even past all the bugs it's just an underwhelming RPG and even though it's not officially one anymore, it's still what was promised not that far back in the past.
>I don't to get locked out of all the endings because I sneezed in the wrong direction
That only happens in jrpgs, so those fuckers force you to buy a guide.
>You won't find tight gunplay like you would see in Destiny 2
Aside from that, I agree. Surprised some literal who from Steam can review Cyberpunk better than the average game journo.
Smt 4
>but it's just a glorified loading screen going from one mission market to another
HOLY
BASED
Alpha protocol did it though. So did shin megami tensei(ven if the number of endings is small, your actions, which are many, are what decides the ending).
lmao
Imagine being filtered by jrpgs, god this shit is pathetic
>life path
>originally had 3 modifiers like child hood hero and defining moment
People got scammed and i'm not even mad. Neither are they, consoomers will consoom
Looks like we have a bad boy here who got the true ending in Valkyrie Profile without a guide.
Best was the fuckign E3 mission.
You'd think there would be some variety.
Yeah, you can choose whether you fight the Maelstrom or Militech.
Both work the exact same and there are no consequences too it.
Even the fucking boss fight at the end is basically the same.
Either a mech or a guy in a mech suit.
i cant believe cdpr released a product on par with alpha protocol in 2020
