Nice. They locked me out of an entire area because I made the wrong choice in the end

Nice. They locked me out of an entire area because I made the wrong choice in the end.

I'm pissed how frequently From games punish players who play blind. I would've chosen differently had I known I would be cutting the game short. Sekiro left a sour taste in my mouth even though the game is good all around.

Did you really cuck yourself for owl?

lmao imagine betraying your shota master
SHAMUR DISPRAY

yeah, doing something unprecedented and siding with your badass father sounded cool

>Betray master
>Get cucked
Deserved it. Not like you would have beaten the final boss anyway if you're weak enough to pick Owl.

>tfw I couldn't fight Dark Souls 2 secret final boss because I couldn't beat Vendrick because I ate the giant souls

HESITATION

>sekirofags are gay pedo coomers
sasuga

>and siding with your badass father sounded cool
Did you not pick up what was going on that whole time during your return to the castle? From what happened at the Estate?

Why in the world would you pick him? I mean, you got what you wanted but still, why in the world would you pick that option on a first playthrough?

>father

do Americans really?

the fuck? we're talking about a video game and you're moralizing me? yes, bad and evil choices can be interesting.

>siding with the guy who tried to kill you
I bet you fuck Benny and don't even kill him after

You deserved what you got 100%
You are a bad shinobi and you should feel bad.

>didnt protect Kuro
deserved it

It's the most important choice in the game, it SHOULD lock you out from something. Otherwise, why give you choice at all? People who chose the other one didn't get the same final fight you got, either.
>punish players who play blind
That, frankly, is a matter of opinion. And it's one that's solved by just doing NG+ and picking the other option.

But that ending is great as well, don't know why you'd complain about having options.

I love Sekiro and i agree with OP
Picking the Shura ending harms one's first playthrough too badly to me. They miss out on the most awesome shit and may not want to replay.

You're fucking retarded.

You just explained yourself why your ending sucked. You decided to go against the grain and pick the bad route.

user, Owl was a selfish old man who bent 'the Code' as he saw fit. In fact he's one if the reasons shit's fucked the way it is.

That's what you get for being a disgusting traitor. Anyone who doesn't protect the shota deserves death.

you're a bad individual and should seek mental counseling

>Side with the bad guy
>Get the bad ending
WOOOOOOOW

first time I'm seeing people argue that an elaborately designed and presented path is a "wrong" way to play. we are not talking about an oversight or an exploit.

why could Sekiro's massacres not be presented via gameplay? From maybe ran out of time and decided to forego it, but why would you defend this obvious shortcoming? you're blinded by your admiration.

Try New Game+. You can complete the game in like 4 hours if you just run to the bosses. You've already beat like 50% of the game already. Plus, you've got a badass Combat Art for choosing that ending

You're not being punished, your second playthrough is being rewarded.

Nah you're just an idiot.

If you had any idea of what was happening story wise you would have seen this coming.

Owl literally says forsake everything and do my dirty work and you heard that and thought 'yep, I'm the idiot you need'

>first time I'm seeing people argue that an elaborately designed and presented path is a "wrong" way to play.
Who argued this?
You picked the route that makes the least amount of sense to pick for a first playthrough. Is the game at fault here for giving you options?

You're now just being a disingenuous cunt, that's not what anyone argued at all.

Nah it's moreso the brother picked a bad route and that's that. Play how you want, nobody cares, but don't pick the bad guy route, then complain bc the ending wasn't satisfying - You literally picked the bad ending.

>You've already beat like 50% of the game already.
what more is there? I beat numerous side bosses: 4 headlesses and I have the 7th prayer necklace and 2 beads.

>why could Sekiro's massacres not be presented via gameplay?

because wolf died, it's not him doing the massacre and therefore it can't be seen on the "camera" following sekiro's life.

you killed him.

You didn't pick the "wrong" one. You picked the bad route, sided with a bad person, then complained about a bad result when you can EASILY get back to the same point in NG+ and not be a moron.

You missed like half the game or something

>"wrong" way to play
I never said that, I said he deserved his suffering for forsaking Lord Kuro, you driveling retard. Subhuman sack of shit.

Longest route can be done inside a day or two easily. Just play NG+. I think that chances are they ran out of dev time and may have wanted to add something more after those fights, though I honestly feel the ending works fine as is, I on't think its supposed to leave you feeling particularly fufilled. Also, you've only lost out on 1 area and another remix of ashina castle, and fought emma and isshin which are unique, and gained a special combat art, so you've hardly been gimped.
