tsushima did not live up to its hype. i was waiting for that game for 2 years then when it came out and i saw the release gameplay i didnt even buy it. after two years of defending this game from doubters. the doengrade from the first gameplay footage was too much imo. it jus looked like another AC game

Yes, the shooting part was kind of a whack a mole kind of thing, but it had its hype moments when coupled up with a masterful OST, the zoom-ins of kill shots and what not
It was overall quite an immersive experience, the sheer quantity of content was astounding, the characterization is absolutely masterful and the sheer amount of different things you could do is just mind boggling
It's bullshit to say that the game hadn't lived up to its hype because not a single game in the past 20 years has achieved the things RDR2 did
