APOLOGIZE ASSHOLES

They upgraded the game drastically. Not just with better draw distance and improved lightning but they also added more buildings and structures to the skyline to make it more dense.

i just sat on my balls, ouch

Also added way more traffic and general clutter everywhere.

It is better than it was, but it should have never been released on ps4/xbo.

No one said the game was ugly

Not to mention the shadowing.

Even on base shitboxes it looks better than the 2018 demo.

It's literally Watch Dogs all over again. Except this time they didn't downgrade the game.

the visuals aren't the problem, it's that the world is dead, there's nothing to do but quests and the AI is a joke

When was the last time a AAA dev decided to upgrade their game instead of downgrading it before launch? D44M right?

Damn, if only they had 8 more years.

The interactivity is kinda barren, sure but it's a good foundation for DLC and expansions. Hopefully a sequel too.

>nothing to do but quests
I mean, that's what I bought it for. I just wanted to go around the world and do quests and shit. I'm not looking to watch npcs talk about the food their eating.

2018 trailer was running on a 1080ti at 1080p 30FPS tbf

It looks like they had a whole backup set of assets for this situation. Unless the bugs and performance is fixed and proven to be fixed, though, I don't care.

shame they forgot to make the game itself better

Yeah, but are they going to fix the shitty story and actually add choices and consequences in the game?

They even added bugs and glitches the demo didn't have. Based CDPR.

Yeah that’s what I don’t get? Do these neckbeards want to follow a fatter version of themselves around and watch them take a shit?

They should have said the bugs were apart of the game for a glitchy simulator feel

Immersive sim elements are nice.

Even back then Jackie had animation glitches when he entered the car after acquiring the spiderbot

I just want a functioning police system, some minigames, the ability to sit anywhere, more dynamic events (random police chases etc), and real enemy AI for combat/stealth. Also, fix the progression system, but I doubt that will happen until mods. Witcher 3 still has a broken rpg system only fixed by mods.

Hopefully those fan modding tools could be imported for usage on this game seeing how it's the same engine.

the game looks good, but it has massive flaws in other areas

You can see 2 groups of people clipping into each-other in your example fuck off you ironic shill

they're just humping bro

>It looks bad because the game is so complex!
What's so complex about this game again? RDR2 has actually simulations going on and looks 1000x better on a base ps4 than this trash.

>Goalposts shifted

The problem is that the world is actually pretty nice. The city looks good and is pretty huge, it's nice to take it all in, but the immersion is immediately broken when you realise you can't really interact with anyone or anything in any interesting way.

RDR2 is vast plains of nothing.
CP2077 is a complex megalopolis.

Complex how? "We have a lot of npcs walking around!"? Fucking GTA3 did this decades ago.

The layout is insane. It's the most densely packed and maze-like environment in an open world game.

>complex
lmao holy fuck this has to be bait

>interact
The only interaction I want to do is take down bounties. I'd just prefer it if the civis I rescue at least acknowledge what Id id. The police do if I help them out. Just not the civilians.

Attached: 20201213161857_1.jpg (2351x1323, 416.86K)

And it's still a horrible game.

>soul vs soulless

I’m unironically having more fun replaying GTA 3 than I am playing CyberPunk

Feel free to list examples of open world games with more complicated level designs.

>The police do if I help them out
How? In my game they literally just stand there and I can't even talk to them after helping them in a shootout.

HOLY SHIT, So the rumors about restarting the development of the game from scratch in late 2017 were all true.

Look how the city's structure has drastically changed from 2018 to 2020. Since 2019 they've been only fixing bugs. Which means, they had to do all that new architecture between 2018 to 2019.

Most of competent CDPR devs have left the studio in the 2nd half 2017, leaving the rest of the team a broken, undocumented engine, which was impossible to use by the new interns and employees, so much that they had to scrap the entire game and make a new one, starting October 2017.
No wonder it's a fucking unplayable mess!

>complicated
>THERE ARE TWO FLOORS BRO
you niggers are so embarrassing

I accept your concession.

One of the things I've noticed is that you can climb practically every building. some sections actually have entire shanty towns on the top of the towers. and the only way to even know they are there is to climb your own path to them. And there are NPC's and items chilling up there.

You'd never know it existed otherwise.

there are zero cars in the game when you drive

because they had the wall climbing and wall running mechanic before but they cut it out

the secrets on high up places are a vestige of that

Usually the one or two that walk away right after say thanks, you saved my ass. I'd get you a cup of coffee or some shit like that. It's nice when it works.

Which is what I want, I want to build rep and actually have it have an impact like it did in the Fable games. To be known as the bounty hunter. so when I dive into a hornets nest of fucking malestrom bois they react in a manner of "fuck, it's the guy who killed 4th squads boss".

That's the kind of immersion I like. Despite not having that, I'm still having a good time.

Attached: 20201213110720_1.jpg (2351x1323, 365.56K)

None of that is true.

>source:my ass

Is there really nothing in the game like this? Not even gambling, no card games, no street races, nothing?

Wall climbing wasn't cut out. you can still do it user. it's how I found it. Also, too much shit on the walls for the wall running mechanic to work. like you'd try it and bounce off an AC unit. This shits like cyberpunk 80s style GitS, not cyberpunk Gits 2nd gig.

left looks better.

There's street racing.

Shit game
Kill yourself shill

>the world is dead
>the game is comfy
>kino
>It's pretentious
Fuck me, I hate the internet.

there apparently is a street racing side quest, but that's about that.
you only have like random shootouts happening in the city for you to intervene in

I mean wall climbing with mantis blades

Looked like left for me in 1.03

I was able to mention a bounty I took in to Woodman and he told me about the ripper doc for free. If you do a lot of tech shit during River's quest he starts calling you net runner. I wish random people recognized as the guy who crucified that dude while butt naked

3 years ago it was jaw dropping
Now it's just avg

like what? jamming them into the walls to climb? I don't recall seeing anything about that. though sounds neat.

There are fights and street racing.

Depends on what you're looking at. I think this looks fantastic, even today.
