Xenoblade 1 is better

I'm not a delusional faggot, so I'm choosing XC2.

my two favorite games but NA wins

Nier Automata, but I really don't see the comparison here besides a loose thematic connection
Both are great, but they aren't anywhere near the same

both shit

I'm not a Nintendo toddler OD'd on estrogen, so Nier.

Astral Chain

MEH-MEH-MEH

Let's see...
>One is baby first philosopher game
>Plays like shit
>Has predictable twists
>Only remembered for the porn
And the other is
>Bland MMO combat
>Shitty story
>Terrible designs
>Worst protagonist in a JRPG since recent years
>Only remembered for the porn
I rather pick neither and play a actual good game like MGS1.

>Kojima drone
>shit taste
checks out

Absolutely based

>tfw Switch/PC, so I don't have to pick only one

Xenoblade 2 because it’s the best blade game and the best game released in 2017.

Nier Automata.
One of the greatest and most emotional games ever made, without great gameplay and no tedious grinding involved.

>Saying as if it has having meaning when you like Automata/XC2

Kojimadrone

any jrpg > xc2

Out of these 2 Xenoblade easily

I liked XC1, will I like XC2? Is it just coomershit like everyone here says, or is the story actually interesting and gripping?

It's both
Have fun

Both. That’s why it’s good

Kinoblade 2>>>>>>>>>any jrpg

based

Xenoblade, easily

I like all three XC games myself, can’t hurt to try it it.

Theres actually only like 3-4 fanservice focused cutscenes, the rest is basically just in designs. The story is actually amazing, personally its better than Xenoblade 1 as well as being in my top 5 stories of any game overall

Xeno

Automata is a tighter narrative for me, but as a game, XBC2 is way more enjoyable.
If it wasn't for Rex being boring as hell and the gacha blade system, it wouldn't even be a contest.

Any JRPG >>>>>>>>>>> Cringeblade 2

The entire 9S section is an absolute drag, most of the time you're literally replaying the exact same game right after beating it but now with a shitty shmup minigame. It completely kills the game progression. On the other hand, Xenoblade 2 starts pretty weak, but it gets better and better the longer you play, so I choose Xenoblade 2.

Never even played Xenoblade 2 and I pick Xenoblade 2

Empty world without complex level design
Bad side quests with generated dialogues
Bad animations
Awful normal battle theme
Unvoiced Heart-to-Heart scenes
Boring twists
Simple story
Flat characters
Primitive combat

So In what way XC1 better than XC2?

Xenoblade 2. Automata is a good experience, but as a game, Xenoblade 2 offers more content, making my investment far better. Also better music, not that Automata is bad, it's god tier, but XC2 is also that + it wins by sheer quantity. Overall, Xenoblade 2 is ''more''.
What's with these weird trolling comparisons anyway? The games are nothing alike, and both should be played by any game enthusiast.

Play Xenoblade 2. Absolutely the best RPG ever made.

You didn't just say that XC1's plot or characters are inferior to XC2's in any way, did you?
I know you're not that fucking retarded user. XC2 takes the gameplay and does a way better job with it, but the characters and plotlines are incredibly weak compared to 1.

Story and character millions times deeper in Xenoblade II.

I'd put two characters as having any sort of depth in 2, and that goes to Nia and Jin.
Honorable mention to the Aegis for being suicidal, that was actually unexpected but didn't get played for long.

>or is the story actually interesting and gripping?

Once you get to the end of Chapter 3 (because up to that point it is slow as fuuuuuuck) the story picks up and while it has some slowdown moments it is generally a hell of a ride that keeps getting better. And the endgame is amazing and far better than 1's.

Dromarch, Tora & Gramps are incredibly based
