Cyberpunk 2077 performance

What’s your performance and what went wrong?
I finished the game with “”1440p”” DLSS balanced at 60fps, but now disabled DLSS and TAA because it looked too blurry. I am now playing with CAS and no AA.
Hex editor and csv edited.
Ryzen 3700X, 16gb ram 3200 mhz, RTX 3070.
RT Ultra, everything ultra. 60 fps """1440p""" with 65% resolution scale.

That's... 1664 x 936 pixels to get stable 60 fps, this is what a new generation $550 USD GPU gets you in 2020 in Cyberpunk 2077. FUCK.

RTX 3080 overclocked to 2105mhz and a Ryzen 5 3600xt overclocked, with only 58% cpu usage when running.

This is fucking dogshit optmization.

All the more reason to wait 2 years to purchase.

so ugly

I hate to say it but look at the pc gaming reddit. Friend linked earlier.
Two letter edit in a hex editor and editing the memory pool config gives like a 30% performance boost and stabilizes a lot of things. The game only uses 3gb vram and 1.5gb actual ram

>no AA
Fucking how

9700k with a 2080.

Running at about 80fps at 1440p ultra with DLSS set to auto.

It's very much playable with dips occuring in the really dense parts of town like Jig-Jig street.

You're not running a very powerful setup. When witcher 3 came out it ran at 30 fps on a 980 which was the 2nd most powerful GPU and 48fps on titan X, the then most powerful gpu and all of this was on 1080p.

Ultra is not meant for current-gen hardware but not only that, you're also using ray tracing which adds another 200% of performance tax or so.

Which was the maxwell titan again, would be interesting to see how they hold up with a fuckton of vram

also I'm playing on 3060ti with dlss quality + 50% sharpening through gfe overlay and mix of high and ultra, getting around 70fps average

no ray tracing

Ok perfomance on foot with a 3080 at 1440p rt ultra dlss but goes to shit while driving (40-50 fps) with my i7-9700k.
Gonna wait a year or two to play this game again, theres some other games im interested in anyway.

Kek I get better performance than that with a 2060

Not very well. vram means nothing if the actual computational aspects are lacking.

JESUS CHRIST user those graphics.
Why would you torture yourself like that.

I unironically get the same performance on 2060 super.
I guess the game is just optimized for 20 series.

The trannies were right bros... why didn’t we listen

i7 8700k, RTX 2080, 2560x1440

Man, am I the luckiest person on the Internet or what? I get what looks like 50+ fps on a 2500k and rx 580 8gb.. I am on all low with a few settings at medium at 1080p

CAS is just a worse version of DLSS

The people who are getting low performance is due to ray tracing. Or unpached exes with Ryzen CPUs

no you are just dumb but the people who bitch about it are even dumber since they have no idea what kind of setting uses which part of their computer. they set it all to high+ and wonder where the frames went.

The game is almost indistinguishable from high settings on my end too, especially when stuff is in motion.

I can run it on ultra at 1080 40+ fps.
>3600x
>1660super

>they set it all to high+ and wonder where the frames went.
i'm convinced half of gaming pc users on here are former console babbies. pc gaming history is littered with once new games that destroyed top of the line cards/systems for at least a year or more.

>gtx 1070
>ryzen 2600
I just vysnc'd the game to 40 and play on Ultra with about 20%gpu usage to spare. I don't know why anyone would compromise the graphics in a game like this for higher frame rates.

Most of the noise is coming from console players unhappy they can't play a next-gen title with shitboxes from 2015.

Go to little china or in front of V's apartment and see if you get 50+ fps there, spoiler you don't

so.. cyberbros

those 2 reddit """fixes""" are useless right?

>Using RT Ultra on anything less than an RTX 5080

That's your problem right there

>ultra
>20% gpu usage to spare

You got a serious case of cpu bottleneck

the game is just unoptimized. i have a gtx 1060 and I've been playing at 40-50 fps on mostly low with a few things on medium, people with way stronger cards and rigs than me are running at the same framerate

of course it dips to below 30 in some instances, but I am on 1.03 and it's tolerable. I wasn't even expecting the game to run on my PC.

yeah i tried playing with settings for a bit and found out that majority of them barely even changes anything visually. if not even the people on Zig Forums can use anything but CDPR graphic presets then i am not surprised by how mad people are. the specific settings are practically non-existent for them.

The Ryzen fix seems legit, then there's that csv file stuff that no one knows for sure until there's an actual benchmark, some people say it gives them 20-30 fps, some people say it doesn't do anything, might just be placebo because people don't benchmark properly

>3070

kek

RTXGBRCU 3090TI founders edition, gold edition tripple fan rgb or go home fag.

my geforce experience doesn't fucking work, it just says an error ocurred when I go to game filters

Currently cascade shadow range is reversed, low is high and high is low, medium is still medium.
