Depends on the program

i have 2 lower body days/week. 1st one i do heavy squats first followed by lighter weight DLs (8-10 rep range) to improve grip and form, and on 2nd day i start with heavy deadlifts and follow with lighter weight squats.
doing both heavy squats and deadlifts in the same day seems impossible to me if you wanna progress, after you've been lifting for a while

I'm approaching my fist plateu as a beginner on the squat (I'm doing SL) and my lower back was destroyed and didn't recover until DL, I couldn't do it and had to skip it. I will change the squat to pullups on DL days so I don't destroy my back.

I would only consider doing squat/DL same day if I was going to follow a program where I'd be squatting/DL 3-4x a week. Currently I follow modified program where I just try to bench/squat/DL 2x a week and try to hit compound exercsies 6-10 times a week and main and try to program progressively increasing volume and intensity over time to peak at the end of 8 week plan.

It really depends on your goals, how much intensity you are planning to do. But I generally do not like to DL/Squat on the same day. I prefer to do squat focused day and other lifts would be squat variations compound lifts and deadlift being compound focused lifts like RDLs/Stiff legged DL/Barbell Rows etc and Bench variations of bench compound and focus upper body that day.

Everyone is different as well. It's well documented that females also can recover more from workouts on average so maybe they can program more frequency.

From a fat distribution standpoint on women they come in 2 forms. Only 2 forms. The first are the chicks that can get away being fatter. Your girlfriend isn't one of these. These chicks REALLY have it on easy mode. Fat goes to their ass and titties and they get thick. The other are chicks that need to be skinny and fit as shit. This is your gf. Chicks like this can be really hot but they need to basically maintain like pure petite body weight. We're talking like trouble starts at 110 lbs. They need to lift, diet, and stay skinny. Any fat they put on goes to their gut and they end up looking like Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum of goes too far. When these latter chicks diet correctly they look smoking fucking hot, but they need to be skinny and fit and for most chicks that's hard mode. Especially with the big is beautiful shit floating around them. It's actually sensible when you think about it. You can't beat the chicks with a good fat distribution in the fat arena, so you need to fight in the skinny arena.
