What's so bad about fried chicken? I don't understand why vegetable oil is considered so bad.
What's so bad about fried chicken? I don't understand why vegetable oil is considered so bad
I think the breading is more whats adding a bunch of calories. dry rub chicken wings are an optimal bulking meal
>I don't understand why vegetable oil is considered so bad.
You're already to stupid to understand why it's bad for you so I would recommend you go ahead and eat as much of it as possible.
>calories = bad
hmm
Bro by altering the fucking chemical structure of fatty acids via heating you literally got toxic highly oxidizing molecules that damage your blood vessels
depends on your goal. all in all, if youre trying to stay/get lean, they are.
This is a white people fitness board. We only eat slightly seasoned chicken with broccoli and brown rice here. Please delete this thread.
Depends on what you're after.
Most people in this country are overeating fat fucks. They shouldn't eat something as calorie dense as breaded deep fried shit. Bascially triples the calories without making you feel more full.
For skeletons who have a hard time eating enough to gain weight on the other hand can eat stuff like to get their calories.
fried chicken is fine in moderation
>i don't understand why vegetable oil is so bad
thats because of the marketing genius that came up with that word. a more accurate name for it would be "sludge composed of various industrial waste products mixed into a homogenous mass"
Breading is just flour. You could shake and bake. The oil you fry it in is what fucks you.
Would frying in lard be acceptable? Is it possible to fry chicken in bacon grease and would that be healthy in moderation compared to vegetable oil?
idgaf if its bad, I fucking love kfc.
It's fried.
better than vegetable oil definitely, but why not just use olive oil? its objectively the best oil there is, its like the one oil you can use as much as you want of (if youre not cutting that is)
Considering that the vast majority of people consume too many calories, adding extra calories is never a good idea for most people. For someone like the bloatlord it's fair enough but for Dave the 35 year old borderline obese IT guy whose knees would give way if he tried to squat with an empty bar, extra calories are not something he should look for.
You should only eat protein and your gym bros semen.
Have you ever cooked anything in your life? You can't deep fry in olive oil.
I use olive oil but isn't it also vegetable oil? I mean olives are vegetables no?
>olive oil for deep frying
fucking retard
of course you can, you just don't crank the heat up all the way so it doesnt smoke? or you use a thermometer to keep it at under like 400 degrees, which really isnt that hard unless you really are retarded (but as you are most likely americans, this is obviously the case)
vegetable oil is vegetable oil, its a blend of different cheap oils
just like sunflower oil is sunflower oil, rapeseed oil is rapeseed oil, etc.
Heating vegetable oil to a high temperature causes the oil to hydrogenate which is bad.
You want to cook it in lard. Nothing bad with that, just keep an eye on your macros.
Oh, here in Spain we literally only use sunflower and olive oil, when reading you I always thought vegetable oil meant any non animal oil/fat
dude if youre european you dont even have to worry about it just use whatever tastes best to you, our food isnt toxic
1. Is delicious and also calorically-dense so you eat lots of calories
2. Lots of not-chicken. So you're eating fucktons of flour and oil. How much flour and oil do you want to eat?
It's not super bad but at the same time it's not a good chicken delivery mechanism and it's a great way for megafats to remain megafats
How do the shittiest foods compare? Out of, say, pizza, fried chicken, and McDonald's, which one is the worst for you?
How is McDonald's a dish you weebtrash brainlet?
Dude that's a tough question. They're all terrible. Whichever has the most calories I guess.
Let me put that in layman's terms buttmad kike:
McDonald's, Papa John's, KFC. Which has the healthiest food?
fried chicken has protons
Papa Johns is probably the worst followed by KFC and then McDonald’s. McDonald’s you can at least a decent amount of proteins out of a Big Mac or mcchicken with calories more balanced out from lettuce onion and tomato.
Probably McDonald's. It's substantially more artificial than the other two.
