No.
100% They are.
Especially strongman all those lifts take a lot of strategy and planning
no, bodybuilding and powerlifting aren't sports they're who can take the most roids and not die contests. You would have to be literally retarded to participate in either.
sounds like youre not cut out for it
When has robert oberst last actually achieved something? N
>no, bodybuilding and powerlifting aren't sports they're who can take the most roids and not die contests.
You mean like any sport? Ok maybe chess players are doping free.
Post physique
That one? Nah.
yes. why do americans think only basketball and american football players are athletes?
robert 'don't do deadlifts' oberst. what a disgrace
>they're who can take the most roids and not die contests
that is only really true for bodybuilding. truth is that roids just don't help that much for strength.
>Ok maybe chess players are doping free.
if there was any drug that could actually increase intelligence, people would take it.
He's won the award for most anagrammatic name every year since Sirhan Sirhan revealed he had a middle one.
>if there was any drug that could actually increase intelligence, people would take it.
Stimulants do that and chess player take them like candy. I can't even come up with an imaginary sport which would not benefit from any "supplements"
No
>I can't even come up with an imaginary sport which would not benefit from any "supplements"
darts?
Objectively yes. People who say no are on some weird cope
>can't sprint
>can't jump
>can't throw
>can't swim
all those years he's been one of the top strongmen in the world?
Alcohol or betablockers to calm the nerves. Also laser surgery for eyesight, which should be considered doping imo :D
to be fair, everyone's wasted at dart events.
No lifting is an exercise just like swimming and running. Not sports.
>roids don't help for strength
Absolute fucking retard
If you blast for a year, start at 2pl8 and strength train properly you can achieve 5pl8 bench as opposed to 2.5pl8 natty
>I guess you’re not retarded
uhhh.. got ‘em?
>5pl8 bench
no
roids can increase your strength very quickly because you're building so much more muscle.
my point was that roids don't help much for strength if you're looking at elite powerlifters.
>When looking at world records, experimental evidence, and cross-sectional studies, the resulting picture shows that steroids increase your competitiveness in strength sports by about 10%.
strongerbyscience.com
wow 10%. what a big difference...
the difference for natty vs roided bodybuilding is so much larger it's laughable
Bodybuilding is a glorified beauty pageant, but without the talent section, which usually only appeals to vain and feminine men.
Powerlifting is a way to increase strength and physical ability for other sports, but isn't a sport itself.
in powerlifting, the sport is performing the squat, bench, and deadlift.
which are intended to be exercises, to increase strength. Powerlifting is for people without any actual skill but still want to train, powerlifting is a training method, not a sport itself.
intended by who? that's arbitrary.
performing really heavy squats/benches/deads takes a considerable amount of skill and dedication.
powerlifting isn't a training method at all, because you're free to do whatever the fuck you want as long as you perform well in the 3 lifts at a meet.
some sports are just more technical than others. long distance running, sprinting, rowing, etc, are all mostly endurance/strength/combination with relatively little skill. you don't call those sports either?
i don't consider any person that can't at least a 7 minute mile an athlete
>which are intended to be exercises
Intended by who? That's like saying that marathon runners are not athletes because running is "intended" to be an exercise to increase cardiovascular capacity for other sports.
10% is a huge difference you fucking mongoloid
it's nothing compared to bodybuilding, dumbass
athletically based
