Its really smooth, just like lemonaid. Gives a fucktonne of energy and decent pump.
For comparison I was using C4 before this and that shit was fucking rough.

I got Total War's White Walker flavour cause the guy said it tastes exactly like sips.

Reps. Did 5x3 55kg ohp and 5x3 130kg deads. I'm expecting to fail the final set of ohp at 57.5

Yeah. Starting to have trouble with grip on deads. Thinking about swapping to mixed. I also feel I'm engaging posterior chain too soon on the rep. Might need to work on form as some reps the weight flies up then the next will be a grind.

Nah I hit 1pl8 OHP really early, probably in the second month of lifting, still struggle with reps of 140kg DL years later due to my poor grip strength

I have a similar problem with grip strength. I just use straps now whenever doing heavy deads, is definitely worth it, mate. Can lift crazy weight now.

I don't want to use straps for 3pl8 diddly, I hate seeing people who rely on equipment to get them through lifts
I've seen people in the gym wearing all this gear, (straps, belt, gloves, barefoot, knee sleeves), just to deadlift 3pl8 and I just laugh at them.
Belts are ok though

I do barefoot for pretty much every compound because i have runners and I'm too cheap to drop 150+ on lifting shoes when bare feet are perfectly fine

Wishing I'd just gone back when they reopened last, missed my fucking chance and now we're stuck for god knows how long. At least the weather is looking up

Converse are good for lifting if you already have a pair
If you don't, drop $20 on knockoff converse at kmart
All you need is a flat sole without a heel arch and very little cushioning

Each to their own. If you want massive back gains, use straps. otherwise youre limited to your grip strength and not unlocking your full potential.

Is strapped deadlifting really more efficient at training back then rows or weighted pullups?
t. never deadlifted with straps
