Stronglifts 5x5

Anybody else here start with Stronglifts 5x5? When should I stop, after an amount of time or when I can lift a certain amount? Also what did you guys move onto after?

did this one and SS when i started lifting. SS is better, SL is kind of junky and 5x5 linear progression on all lifts doesn't work that well for novice lifters.

reduce to 3x5 and you're 5x5 in this program is way too much

These programs are all dog shit and catered to subhuman genetics, if I am being completely honest

I just chose Stronglifts because I like the app telling me exactly what to do.

Does it matter if I use a hex bar instead of a barbell for deadlifts?

It literally doesn't matter what fucking starting program you use for your first 4-6 months. They are all almost identical.

Make sure you're actually deadlifting the bar and not squatting it. Outside of that it's fine.
