ADHD is a real and you can actually measure it using brain scan, blood hormone levels etc
however here is what happend: At some point in last decades doctors decided that if a kid has some symptoms of ADHD they have ADHD. They completly removed the physicial aspect of the disease and made it a behaviour thing only. This is why you have so many children nowerdays falsly diagnosed with ADHD and people start thinking ADHD is made up etc. It's bad for both the kids who actually have ADHD and for the huge amount of Kids who are wrongly diagnosed with it. For example Children who have been traumazided CAN have similuar behaviour problem like children with ADHD, but putting them on drugs is completly wrong way to treat this. Also the children who actually have ADHD are said that "they just lazy" etc. because people see kids who were falsly diagnosed with ADHD, who they tought really had ADHD easily fixing their life etc
It's not real, faggot. Start taking responsibility for your actions for once instead of blaming some imaginary "mental illness" when you fail.
Angel Brooks
I think it's real, but you shouldn't let it make you a victim or a pill guzzler
Easton Baker
It's "real" to some extent, but it's not an illness in any way.
Not everyone can be focused for as long a time and stay stagnant for as long, as easily. We can see it clearly with children.
Most children that are """diagnosed""" with ADHD are boys. Girls can EASILY spend 8 hours a day sitting in class listening to some retarded woman teacher talking about useless stuff. Boys have a lot of trouble doing that. Some of them will not tolerate that much boredom and will start not paying attention and even acting out. But nowadays if you are not a fucking passive slave, you are """diagnosed""" as being ill and prescribed fucking amphetamines.
So yeah, some people have a different ease for "attention" than some other people. Is it an illness? No. Can it be bent in any way when you're an adult and wise enough to have discipline and control yourself? Of course.
You can't make a child resist temptation of a candy for hours, you can't make him meditate for 12 hours without moving, he'll go crazy. An adult can because he has more discipline and self-control.
ADHD as a disease is not real. If you're an adult, CONTROL YOURSELF FAGGOT, you're not a slave in your own body. You do what you want, when you want. You control every single of your muscles and it WILL NOT MOVE if you do not want it to move.
I swear the next time I see some weak cunt that claims he has ADHD and can't focus without drugs but can play video games for 5 hours straight and watch a 2 hours movie without moving, I will fucking bash his head in.

I never blamed anything for my disease people around me did this disease had both positives and negatives
The positives were: I have an IQ of above 130 and always were happier than 90% of people around me( could also be because i am a christian ), also it was always easier for me to make huge amounts of friends in short time and get certain type of girls to crush on me
but there were always negatives like acting like i was crazy and while most kids loved to hang out with me their parents often said things like "don't hang out with him, he is crazy etc" and i got in a lot of trouble in school for not behaving etc. and needed to go different doctors who treated me like an animal that needs his pills
i am happy about the way i am i think the positives of being born with ADHD like a really high IQ and overall happyness overweight the negatives of being seen as sick by some and having trouble concentrating etc
You can measure it some extent with biological measures such a resting heart rate, fMRI-scans and physiological response sensitivity such as blinking, skin sweat conductance. These are however only correlates and not sufficient for an indication and diagnosis of ADHD. People with diagnosed mental illnesses literally have structures and wiring in their brain that differs from the general population. Quit you bullshit.
Carter Ross
ADHD is the perfect scam by capitalists/marxists that assumes that just because you can't stay focused towards bullshit something must be wrong with you so they offer you a performance enhancer (you have to pay for it ofcourse, in worst cases they forcibly put you on it when you are a kid) that will ruin you down the line but still ensures productivity because you are too timid to do anything about it because the anxiolytic nature of the drugs.
Jayden Bennett
anxiogenic*

>People with diagnosed mental illnesses literally have structures and wiring in their brain that differs from the general population. Quit you bullshit. Cope

I got diagnosed, and later realized that me and my family members are fucking dumb with the dumbest lifestyles, which to me explains the adhd-like problems. Now there's talk about others in the family having adhd, and I don't know how to effectively tell them they're retarded, and have been for decades, and to fix their lives first.
Carter Evans
>People with diagnosed mental illnesses literally have structures and wiring in their brain that differs from the general population. Never been proven, even for CTE(which is an actual brain damage) they need to prove it post mortem.
Bentley Hall
It's very difficult to convince anyone. Because you basically give them the choice between: >illness, with no fault of my own, no work that needs to be done, just take the pills and claim the victim's status >behavior, with partial or total responsibility, need drastic change in character and lifestyle, lots of work to do and have to be humble
Who the fuck will take the second choice in today's world.
>have to be (((humble))) being humble gets you nothing, you have to be entitled.
David Powell
I'm not talking about being humble toward someone else, but be humble toward the reality and not believe you are the victim of your circumstances. You need to humble yourself and take responsibility for your faults and shortcomings.
Those with a big ego/narcissists are not humble enough to think that they are at fault in how they raise their children, or at fault with how they live.
Humbleness is not servitude or weakness, user.
Evan Perry
Oh yeah? What exactly do they find in these brain scans? Which hormones are detected in people with ADHD?
I'm an MRI physicist so you don't have to dumb it down.
(Hint: OP won't respond to this because ADHD is a fake disease caused by overstimulation.)
Lancet lol, the same publisher that deleted excellent research on damaging effects of vaccines. Why would you ever think you'd get legitimate research by some money making "scienceā¢" corporation. Not to mention DSM blatantly adds everyday symptoms to it's list of disorders to rake in more diagnoses = money.
Jack Miller
>Not to mention DSM blatantly adds everyday symptoms to it's list of disorders to rake in more diagnoses = money. I know right. I swear, someone that is a little bit sad qualified as depressed, someone that is a bit lazy qualifies as ADHD, someone that is a little bit stressed qualified as generalized anxiety disorder, someone that's a bit asocial and focused is qualified as autistic.
Their tests are sometimes as scientific as a fucking Buzzfeed test. Everyone is special.
Oliver Parker
People who confidently claim that one of the most well researched psychiatric conditions doesn't exist is one of the clearest examples of the dunning kruger effect.
It takes a serious lack of critical thinking to believe your hour of googling (or more likely the opinion you base on nothing but personal experience) is superior to centuries of research done on the condition.
Don't waste your time trying to convince these people.
Anybody who makes such bold claims despite having zero qualifications is not going to change their mind based on reason.
Connor Adams
amenclinics.com/conditions/adhd-add/ ADHD brains are chronically understimulated from childhood. ADHD is a neurodivergent condition and the symptoms are always present, unlike a mental illness where symptoms may be worse some days and better on others. It has nothing to do with upbringing, habits, personality, or willpower. Why are dumbasses so upset about people with genuine ADHD symptoms getting treatment and improving their lives? Is there something offensive about the prospect of somebody being able to take a medication that allows them to actually succeed in their life in a way that lines up with their abilities and intelligence? ADHD medications don't give people superpowers. It has been proven with people who don't have ADHD and take those medications actually just experience an increase in confidence in their abilities in addition to wakefulness, with no effect on their actual abilities when it comes to memory, etc. People with the condition benefit from medication as it brings their cognition up to a more normal level. Many people with ADHD experience a calming effect and don't have a reduction in appetite or any sleep disturbances, which is the opposite of what non-ADHD people experience when taking stimulants. Maybe you people are simply bitter and uneducated. There are so many back and forths over health and body related issues that could be easily be resolved if people knew basic physiology and could pull their heads out of their asses.

you clearly know nothing about the diagnostic process when it comes to conditions like autism and ADHD. as for depression and anxiety - those are very socially acceptable conditions that range from mild to severe. it's very obvious when someone is full of shit.
This incoherent ramble was brought to you by adderall. Get your prescription now with a 15 minute talk with your doctor.
Carter Miller
>it's very obvious when someone is full of shit. It's not, it's actually a very researched issue among college kids getting their fake prescription because it requires no effort and there is no way to prove the drug seeker wrong.
Ayden Flores
based on this post, you actually have no fucking idea what ADHD is. congratulations, retard.
Connor Bailey
What part of that was incoherent? I literally understood everything he typed. Or are you just throwing out random insults because you are quickly realizing your irrational beliefs are indefensible and instead of accepting that you are wrong and trying to overcome your ignorance you are just digging yourself deeper?
Easton Flores
explain ADHD then genius
Grayson Foster
I wonder (((who))) could be behind this post
Connor Parker
What meds do schizos like you take nowadays?
Brayden Sullivan
>most well researched Still no definitive way of diagnosing, good one schlomo
Angel Howard
It's real and getting worse because zoomers and their parents are poisoning their mind with short form, repetitive content on the internet that smashes their dopamine receptors repeatedly until they can't handle the fact that life moves a lot slower irl than in whatever they usually indulge in for entertainment
Ethan Robinson
idk if you are the same person but take a moment to reflect on how you respond to differences in beliefs.
You don't argue the point, you just insult the person.
