Hello guys, I have a little problem. I've been going to the gym pretty seriously for 3 months almost 4 now but there is one thing I just can't ignore.

I have a pectus excavatum (pic related) and even tho it's not a serious as the one in the picture it's still pretty annoying.

I feel like it's ruining my gains, even if I had a 6 packs I feel like I wouldn't even see it because I have a fucking hole in the middle of my chest

Anyone else with the same problem as me ? What can I even do to change that ? I told myself that it would be less visible once I'm buffed, but I don't even know if it's true

Mine is not severe enough for a surgery I feel. I mean I don't have trouble breathing...even tho I could just lie to the surgeon to get one. But i feel like a surgery is pretty radical

I have this. I look way better now a year after working out - i've sort of accepted i need a higher % body fat to look decent though and probably wont get a nice 6pac without being all ribby. I mostly regret not starting earlier and wasting my youth being skinny and shy about it.

Nah mate, it's not me on the picture, I have something similar but less extreme

lifting does hide it., I'm dyel as fuck and mine looks a lot better than when i was a skelly. Your chest grows out and hides some of the hole
being a skelly makes it looks way worse. skellys have a flat chest so it just looks like a sinkhole

so i would recommend SS+GOMAD

Just put some plaster over the hole and put some skin-colored paint on it. You can also slightly model it to simulate better pecs and abs insertions, and add some shading to the skin paint to accentuate the muscle.

There's a correlation because of marfan's syndrome. Although, being a skelly with a pectus does not equal marfans.

My pectus excavatum got even worse when i started to lift. The more developed my chest became, the more noticeable the hole became, especially when wearing clothes. I fucking hate it.

There is something like a chestpump out on the market for that, you put it on your chest and it creates a suction, basicly the same effect as braces do, you just let that thing sit on your chest as long as you can and over time it gets better.
But dont fall for any cheap shit, it can seriously fuck up your skin if the underpressure is too high.

Do loads of flies and bench and the larger pecs will cover that. Growing abs will help too. Don't be discouraged. I had a friend with the same issue and you cant even tell now
