Positivity thread

Nothing. Nothing gives me pleasure anymore. I spend money, try to take care of myself but nothing can make me feel anything but sheer disappointment in life and in myself.

With so many hate threads on Zig Forums I think having one positivity thread is not excessive at all.
Most of the things I wrote in this thread are things I haven't heard people talk about.

Why are you disappointed in life and yourself?

Because I am a disappointment .

If you enjoy reading you can always go to book events.
The type of girls that read are the type of girls that don't whore around.

What have you done in life that made you a disappointment?

Nothing. That's the issue, I've done nothing in my entire life.

Start doing things then!
I think would be perfect for you.
Not only will you meet girls there and have a good time but you'll also get to brag about doing it for the rest of your life (and you can put it on your resume).

Telling a girl "I'm passionate about helping people and I want to make the world a better place. I actually spent half a year volunteering in a poor Asian country/Africa/wherever" would instantly make you much more interesting.

I'm not really that type of person. Doubt there are many girls interested in typography either

What are you passionate about?
Electrical Engineering. Circuitry, electricity and fixing broken things that most assholes would just throw away.
What's the yummiest food you have tried?
Have a family recipe. I really enjoy it. There are much better foods but I will always love it.
What's the most beautiful place you have visited?
Southern California and the great wall near Beijing both are very beautiful places.

I know that plenty of girls are interested in calligraphy and those two go hand in hand.
Girls also love keeping journals and have them nicely organized.
Not sure where you could meet such girls though.

I wish I knew how to fix things other than PCs.
Seems like a very useful skill and it's seem nice to give a new home to thrown away electronics.

Also you made me change my answer on food. Yes, lasagna is great but you're right, family recopies that are made with love always taste better.

I guess you could meet them at calligraphy classes. Also dominated by females.
I've never heard of one before but if they're hosting any around you - give it a go.
You'd probably know how to compose it better than most people there so they'll be very impressed by you.

Learned how to make it myself. Can't match my mothers back in the day but sure as hell make it better than my dad and mother as they are now.

lol fuck journals its all about notes. My writing sucks what I get for slitting my write open but if I understand what it says then fuck it.

There is nothing wrong with taking quick useful notes but keeping a journal and putting effort into making it look nice seems very therapeutic.

I'm more into type than script, but both are cool ig. The problem with calligraphy is that it's more of an art than anything practical, and my old man self doesn't like that. Anyway, here's a lorem ipsum. Don't doxx me.

How long did it take you to get to this point?

I'm pretty sure a lot of girls are also studying typography since they want to keep neat journals. I know some of them study specific fonts.

Also somewhat related, my page of minimums. It's not perfect but I only started practicing recently and I'm doing my best.

It's injustice to the struggles and pains we've had to go through.

That looks really nice. My hand is unsteady unfortunately and I don't really own a proper brush pen, so I am somewhat restricted. I could buy one but I am also trying to save up for driving school and I'd probably feel bad about it.

I paid 3 quid for a pack of 5 brush pens. I think they're pretty decent but I don't have other ones to compare them to.

I'm not looking for love, just friends. I can't even get friends, male or female.

I also struggle to find friend to be quite honest with you so I'm not sure where to meet those either.
