yeah but did they not realize that he was spending all of his time in his room previously? they allow the behavior to manifest and grow and grow and never did anything to stop it because they most likely neglected him. now that he's reached the end of the road, they wanna step in and tell him how shit of a human being he is. where were they when he started becoming a recluse?

it surely is in a way parents' fault. i personally bear a grudge against my parents that they were more interested in themselves and their marriage being a fuck up than the teenage me. maybe i wouldn't have ended up in the state i am in right now if they simply took me to a motherfucking therapist when i was a kid or noticed how destructive their arguments were to my psyche because i was a very sensitive kid. i don't know whether they didn't fucking see what was going on or simply chose to ignore it and hoped that it would work itself out. when i brought it up my mum of course blamed the internet.

When that happened to me I snapped and actually started to try and choke out my father before realized what I was doing and stopped. He looked like he legitimately believed I was going to actually kill him.
