Now you're just getting stupid. Terry's vision is righteous because it actually solves many problems that have come to plague modern computing. Like for starters, the fact that everyone is dependent on GPUs are a cianigger prison that keeps you from ever having non-botnet hardware. Then there's the matter that you're constantly using some 3rd party libraries, frameworks, whatever to interface with the hardware instead of actually learning to do that yourself directly. That's how they get you to stay trapped and dependent, and it's the opposite of the "freedom" that GPL, BSD, etc. licenses pretend to grant you. No, they just give you the illusion, when in reality it takes huge dev teams to maintain those modern shits. And eventually they get subverted one by one, because organizations can be infiltrated, whereas an individual always remains in full control of what he wants.

Terry's vision was either to build a modern hobby programming platform or to build God's temple, not to escape "cianigger prison." Also, applications for his system are much more "trapped and dependent" than OpenGL applications as it's hugely simpler to add software rendering than it is to run HolyC outside of TempleOS.

I wrote serial comms driver on Z80 computers in asm, games in BASIC + machine language (didn't have an assembler, just typed the hex equivalents to opcodes), and games for DOS VGA (mode 13h) in Turbo Pascal + asm.
