Huawei

Can anyone confirm that Huawei poses any additional security risks to individual users other than the narrative that (((they))) are pushing?

I have just been listening to some (((political discussion))) on Chinese Technology -
endchan.xyz/.media/7c59f0b78524dc6279d2c0c580d60b7d-audiompeg.mp3 -
and one of the things they spoke about was Huawei.
The current meme that (((they))) are pushing is that Huawei poses a security risk.
Let me point out though that what Huawei is being accused of, are the same things that the NSA has been doing as was pointed out in Edward Snowden's leaks.
I also think about the idea that there is an unspoken but obvious Technology Trade War between China and the U.S..
(((Them))) making statements and pushing the idea of, "Chinese Tech Is A Security Risk," and "Huawei is controlled by the Chinese Government," makes people paranoid and causes them to not buy Huawei products.
With the advent of 5G coming, (((they))) want us to believe that the chinks want to spy on ordinary citizens.
(((They))) don't want Chinese Tech Companies to make money causing (((them))) to lose market dominance.
And, (((who))) said there is no Trade War?

But, with all that commentary, you can see why I think that, "Huawei is bad," is bullshit.

Please confirm.

Huawei are the good guys in this fight yes. My next phone will be one.

Do you want American overlords or Chinese overlords?

Either way, if you're not a billionaire, you're fucked. Rich people see us all as cattle.

No need to. I made an universal flowchart that determines product safety and answers your question in simple and efficient manner.

Do you think tech companies treat different people's data differently?

I mean, think about it. If you looked through all your user data and found out that a successful businessman (who knew trade secrets) used your data mining app/phone, maybe you'd treat them separately from the minimum wage plebs who also use the same product.

I bet rich people and politicians have to be more careful about what they install for precisely this reason.

Some random neckbeard uses privacy-invading software → app company treats it normally, the data isn't very valuable at all. Might even get anonymized, because their name is worthless to begin with.

Some rich, famous, or otherwise important person uses privacy-invading software → they pay close attention to the info they collect, and it isn't anonymized.

would this qualify as, "Yes, the Schematic is available?"
mobile-manuals.com/huawei/

for example---(attached)

Unless you can open up the phone and trace the schematic you can't know if there aren't any additional modules.

It's just like "open source" software where they offer to let you download and install a compiled version... which isn't necessarily compiled using the same code as the open source stuff they list.

So - is it safe?
give me an answer that a non-electronics physicist can understand.

China right now wants to takeover the computer and smartphone market.
If they made bugged hardware, western governments would make sure every pleb knows about it and convince them that China will spread their porn viewing habits to friends and family, causing the Chinese companies to lose market share.
Because of this, I would bet their hardware is actually safer than western designed stuff.

Note that this doesn't mean China won't bug western designed stuff that is manufactured in China, since that hurts the competition.

ITT: Huawei shills desperately attempt to capture the Zig Forums market as their reputation goes down in flames.

>Can anyone confirm that Huawei poses any additional security risks to individual users other than the narrative that (((they))) are pushing?

It's botnet.
It's as simple as that. You do not have the hardware schematics or source code to audit and control it, it's automatically botnet.

>Do you want (((American))) overlords or Chinese overlords?
fixed

your dubs confirm
that's like asking if I like suicide using a .308 or a .306

...

>Do you want (((American))) overlords or (((Chinese))) overlords?

in order to hardware to be compliant for the chinese market it has to bugged to all hell. if you have ever been to china you will see the have surveillance up the ass, and don't even care because they aren't smart enough to understand. you see in the last 50 years china has been running a reverse eugenics programme of removing all smart people, its called communism.

Huawei is a botnet. jews are right. jew hardware like Intel, Amd is botnet too.

>With the advent of 5G coming, (((they))) want us to believe that the chinks want to spy on ordinary citizens.
they will. 5G is a botnet and needs to be exploded

(((They))) are correct.

What's up moishe?

American, Chinese, Russian, doesn't matter. If it's consumer hardware then its botnet. Only difference is which nation get first dibs on your contact list and porn collection before the other nations discover a hack for it.

kai feng

You can't know. Same for any other product. Being realistic you should assume every electronic you own is bugged, but most of it won't be activated on you since you're not important enough to risk detection.

You can visit China even if you bring with you books on all these topics (they may confiscate them though). Chinks are pretty clever with their censorship, they don't care what foreigners can access and even have different filters for different parts of the country.
